I laugh about it; but depression is a serious and dangerous disease. Prosac works for me and I am ever so grateful.
The short days of winter have an effect as well.
A hard day at work or commuting can set off the depression alarm. Watch out for that circle of depressive thinking. When you see the circle, interrupt it at all cost. It might seem like a forever thing, but it is not.

Affirmations Can Help With Depression
Don't give up, try affirmations, they helped me. Affirmations are positive statements, said or written repeatedly, until they are a fact.
Even in the really bad times, a string of words can bring comfort. The rhythm of the words can be something to grab onto.
As an example, I am a wonderful person is an affirmation.
I walk with the goddess today.
I walk in the light today.
