Mary Stayed Out All Night or Marry Me, Mary! is a story about a girl named Wi Mae Ri (played by Moon Geun-Young) who is a cheerful and an optimistic girl despite all the troubles she experience in her life like when his father's business failed and left a lot of debts. So, she have to move away home to escape his father's debtors. That is when she accidentally met the indie singer Kang Moo Kyul (played by Jang Geun Suk) which became one of her good friends. Now she is torn between the two guys Kang Moo Kyul or Jung In who she will getting married just to escape his father's debt.

This Korean drama is aired on KBS2 Network with 16 episodes that last from November 08, 2010 to December 28, 2010, directed by Hong Suk Goo, Kim Young Kyoon and based in the Internet comic written by Won Soo Yeon.

Marry Me, Mary!: Summary

Beware for some spoilers and brief background story of the drama.

Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from debtors. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just returned from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri's mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape this predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

Moon Geun Young who plays the female lead character Wi Mae Ri/Mary Wei is a South Korean actress and model. She started her modeling career at the tender age and appeared in the documentary film On the Way (1999) the following year. She came into the spotlight through her role as the young Eun-suh in the hugely popular television drama series Autumn Tale (2000). Her major breakthrough as a star was the horror film A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) directed by Kim Ji-woon. Later, she starred in such hit films as My Little Bride in 2004 and Innocent Steps in 2005.

Jang Geun Suk who plays the male lead character Kang Moo Kyul is a South Korean actor, singer and a model. He is best known for playing the role of bandleader Hwang Tae Kyung in the hit 2009 drama You're Beautiful opposite Park Shin Hye. He starred in films like One Missed Call: Final, Happy Life, The Longest 24 Hours, Baby and I, The Case of Itaewon Homicide and You're my Pet.

Kim Jae Wook who plays as Byun Jung In is a South Korean actor and a model. He was born in Seoul, South Korea, but his family went to Japan later on. Kim Jae Wook grew up in Japan until he was 7 years old, then returned to Korea. He started out performing in a band, but when he was 17, he started to model. In 2007, he auditioned for and won the role No Sun-ki in the 2007 hit drama series The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince which made him more popular in South Korea and several Asian countries.

Kim Hyo Jin who plays as Seo Joon is a South Korean model and actress. She made her debut as an actress in 1999. In 2004 she became well-known by co-starring as the youngest of the three sisters in the romantic comedy film Everybody Has Secrets. She starred in films like The Legend of the Evil Lake, Everybody Has Secrets, Marrying the Mafia II, Barefoot Ki-bong, Mr. Wacky, Five Senses of Eros.
