May Queen - Korean Drama 2012

Updated on October 2, 2014

Best buddies in real life Kim Jae Won and Jae Hee teamed in the weekend drama about young people's life story as they're working hard to achieve their dreams in the shipbuilding industry.

Jeon Hae Joo (Han Ji Hye) is a strong-willed woman who started from nothing, climbs her way in this industry (dominated by males) to become an oceanographer. From the released stills, it looks like Hae Joo and Chang Hee (Jae Hee) are childhood friends, so I'm interested to see how their love story will unfold as it looks like they will be entangled in love triangle.

The plot looks like a similar Korean Drama plot, love triangle between an heir of a company who always gets an easy way, another man who works harder than the heir but many times will lose his chance to get the girl, and the heroine who lived an unfortunate live but is able to change her life because of her hard work and determination. There's also articles which mentioned that there'll be birth secrets, so I believe this drama will give us Ambition, Love, Betrayal and Revenge storyline.

The first few episodes of May Queen focus on the childhood storyline staring my favorite child actors/actresses Kim Yoo Jung, Park Gun Tae and Park Ji Bin.

May Queen followed Dr Jin, it premiered in August 2012.

Born genius, he anchors everything he's interested inside his mind. Yes he can easily memorize something once he put his mind into it, or when he's interested on it.
