Megadeth Rust in Peace Twentieth Anniversary T-Shirt
What many consider to be Megadeth's climax in terms of true thrash metal, Rust in Peace featured the fan favorite band lineup of Mustaine, Ellefson, Marty Friedman, and Nick Menza. Marty Friedman demonstrates his unique guitar playing style that added so much to the band's in tracks like "Hangar 18," "Holy Wars," and "Tornado of Souls." These are all often played at nearly every Megadeth show. The album cover art depicts a secret meeting of world powers at the time in the legendary Hangar 18 of Area 51, with Vic Rattlehead towering over an alien body (from the Roswell crash?).
Everyone who is a big fan of the Big Four or thrash metal knows Rust in Peace, and probably knows every track on the album. The cover art is just as recognizable as the songs, made by the same artist who produced other album cover artworks in the past. This shirt artwork is a spin on the classic album cover celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2010.

Peace Sells But Who's Buying T-Shirt - Megadeth Peace Sells But Who's Buying T-Shirt - a classic!
Megadeth's 2nd album grew in leaps and bounds from their debut album, Killing is My Business. With a heavier sound, faster riffs, and a more polished approach, they hit the ground running with the album opener "Wake Up Dead," a track about cheating (and trying not to get caught), and progresses to political themes to the satanic in "The Conjuring." While the song "The Conjuring" is said to be about witchcraft and making deals with the devil, Dave Mustaine has stated he does have some regrets about the song's content.

2009's Endgame is easily Megadeth's strongest and heaviest release since Rust in Peace. It's heavier than Countdown for Extinction, but has the unmistakable melody and harmonizing guitars Megadeth is known for. The album starts off like a cannonball and rips shrapnel into you with the opener instrumental "Diacletic Chaos" and runs right into the epic "This Day We Fight." Track for track, an incredible disc.
That opening bass riff from Dave Ellefson is something you don't hear every day. In fact, MTV liked it so much that they used in their MTV News intro (so if you're a child of the 80's or 90's you've probably heard it!). The album also contains some fan favorites like "Black Friday," "Devils Island," and the shred fest of "Wake Up Dead."
You knew this one had to be on the list! Pretty much everyone regards Rust in Peace as Megadeth's strongest effort, with the two legendary tracks "Hangar 19" and "Holy Wars... the Punishment Due." Just as impressive are the other tracks like "Tornado of Souls," and the dizzying frenzy of the final track, "Polaris." If there's any one disc you buy from Megadeth, it should be this one.
As the 90's progressed, Megadeth did soften slightly, introducing more pop elements and hooks into their songs. The change started with Countdown for Extinction, evolved into Youthanasia, and progressed into Cryptic Writings. From there, the band took a big leap with Risk, largely panned. The sweet spot in their releases during this period to me is Youthanasia. Released during the height of the grunge era, this album had a deep, dark feel to it, with some incredibly powerful riffs. It also contains the arguably the band's best song, "A Tout Le Monde," which was rerecorded in 2007. Look for "Victory," "I Thought I Knew it All," "The Killing Road," and "Elysian Fields," all great tracks. From start to finish, there's not one bad song.
This album was the return of Megadeth in 2005, and kind of slipped under the radar. It's actually better than United Abominations, the 2007 release, and has a unique combination of sounds and some really memorable riffs. The album has 3 songs which feature "Peace Sells" guitarist Chris Poland. While the second half of the album might be a little bit slower paced, the first 8 or so tracks are (newer) vintage Megadeth.

Megadeth Four Horsemen T-Shirt - Megadeth Four Horsemen Long Sleeve Shirt
The Four Horsemen was a song by Metallica, and a song that Dave Mustaine wrote. When he left Metallica, he had an alternate sped up version with alternate lyrics which can be found on Killing is My Business and Business is Good. This shirt is probably making reference to United Abominations, and has four figures with a flame background.
More Officially Licensed Apparel - Band shirts and apparel - featuring metal artwork and images
Megadeth has has an enduring career for nearly 30 years. Since the band's inception in 1983, they have produced 12 studio albums as well as some live albums. Dave Mustaine and Dave Ellefson have been with the band since day one, except for Ellefson's leave between 2002-2010. Megadeth has been a huge influence on the metal scene of today. Over the course of their career, the band had a #2 album with Countdown to Extinction (which Mustaine has said in the past he is bitter about since the #1 album was Billy Ray Cyrus at the time), grammy nominations, and many top ten albums like United Abominations, Youthanasia, Endgame, and Cryptic Writings.
