Underworld is a series of action horror movies starring Kate Beckinsale. She plays the role of Selene, a vampire known as a Death Dealer. Her goal is to kill all the Lycans who murdered her family. From 2003 to 2012, there have been four films released under the franchise. A fifth film is set to be released in 2016. The Geckos take them hostage, using their recreational vehicle to cross the border of Mexico. They stop at a bar called Titty Twister, where Seth plans to meet with his handler the next morning. Soon, all the workers turn into vampires, and they need to fight them off until dawn if they want to survive.

Caleb Colton is a young cowboy who happens upon a beautiful lady named Mae one night. Mae asks Caleb if he can take her to her trailer. He notices that his skin burns when sunlight hits it. His father and sister sees a van come out of nowhere and abducts Caleb. He is then introduced to Mae’s family, and he learns that all of them are vampires. Caleb refuses to kill for blood, so Mae gives her own for him to survive. Caleb’s family meets Mae, forcing him to choose between them or the love of his life.

The Reaper is a rare mutation that threatens not only the human race, but the vampire community as well. They have an insatiable bloodlust that they kill both vampires and humans. Blade is summoned by the council, and he works with Whistler and Scud to put an end to the Reapers and prevent vampires and humans from getting completely wiped out.

Abraham Lincoln, at the young age of 9, witnesses the brutal murder of his mother by a vampire named Jack Barts. A decade later, he tries to kill Barts, but he is unsuccessful. It is during this time that he meets Henry Sturges, who tells him that he is a vampire hunter. He goes on to teach Abe about how to kill vampires, but only if Abe promises that he kills only those that Henry directs him to. Abe moves to Springfield, studies law and meets Mary Todd. He eventually gets married to Mary, despite Henry’s warning about relationships. Abe also becomes the President of the United States. He soon learns that a vampire works with the Confederacy, and he must find a way to stop them before it’s too late.

The story happens 10 years in the future, where the population is comprised of 5% humans and vampires making up the rest. This spells trouble for vampires, as they no longer have ample supply of human blood to sustain their existence. There is also evidence showing that vampires deprived of human blood evolve into violent creatures that kill anyone just to survive. Dr. Edward Dalton is a vampire and hematologist. He researches for a way to supply vampires with artificial blood, which is also born out of his sympathy toward the remaining human population. His thoughts change, however, when he meets someone who has discovered a way to transform from being a vampire to a human.
