Disney Planes: Cars Spin-off or Rip-off? - Watch the video and then let us know what YOU think by voting in the poll.

Disney Pixar's first Cars movie scored 74 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and Cars 2, a paltry 38 percent. Cars is the only Pixar film not to win an Oscar for Best Feature and Cars 2 was not even nominated for an Oscar. Despite the facts, Disney is expanding the franchise because, as we all know and this video discussion from Beyond the Trailer pointed out, little kids love CARS. The Cars movie franchise was very successful at the box office and it looks like we're in for another exciting ride with Planes.

What do you think?

Despite the facts that Disney Pixar's Cars first movie only scored 74 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and the second movie 38 percent and that the first movie is the only Pixar not to win an Oscar for best feature and thaat Cars 2 was not nominated at all, Disney Pixar is expanding the franchise because, as we all know and this video pointed out, little kids love cars. The Cars movie franchise was a huge hit at the box office and of course with merchandise and Planes is a spin-off of Cars.

Disney Planes Shake n Go Toy Roller Planes by Fisher-Price

Available in two of the main characters: : El Chupacabra & Dusty Crophopper.

The two main characters from Disney Planes movie, El Chupacabra & Dusty Crophopper, are represented here by these fun Fisher-Price Shake and Go Roller toys. They are quality push toys with working wheels and propellers and painted details (rather than stickers.) El Chupacabra speaks two phrases but unfortunately, Dusty does not. Both planes feature engine sounds. Just give them a shake, release and off they go travelling up to 20 feet in distance. Race them or crash them...

They are recommended for children aged 3 to 7 years old and each one requires 2 AA batteries.

Dusty Crophopper Kids Costume

Would you believe there is already a Dusty Cropper kids costume available? I was surprised to discover it but I love it because it is so practical and fun. It's available in children's sizes 2T to 4T and Large (4-6).

Would it surprise you if I told you there was a Disney Planes Fire & Rescue 2015 wall calendar? It didn't really surprise me. I see it as a great piece of wall decor for a young child, as a practical piece of art for an older child who can use a calendar and as a great gift idea for an adult fan of planes, fire and rescue.

Are you looking forward to Disney Planes?
