Real Housewives of New Jersey, What is Their Net Worth?

Updated on October 28, 2014

Well-Kept Women

One thing can be said about this group of women: They are indeed housewives. Sure, a few have published cookbooks or released a pop single, but generally speaking these women got rich the old fashioned way: They married into it. The same is not true of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or Atlanta.

So which of these New Jersey housewives has the most money? Keep reading to find out.

So How Rich Are They?

Melissa Gorga: Net Worth $15 million

Melissa is Teresa's sister-in-law and an aspiring singer. Her husband Joe built a recording studio in their basement. That would sure be supportive, if only his true motivation wasn't to keep Melissa close to home so she can care for him and their children! For her part, Melissa adamantly declares that she is not a gold digger—yet her real estate developer husband is loaded and actually not a bad catch.

Teresa Giudice: Net Worth $11 million

Who doesn't love a table-flipper? Teresa wins hands-down for bringing drama to the show.

She hoped that by marrying construction company owner Joe Giudice she would marry into a fortune. Alas, Joe only makes $79,000 a year. After a lot of over-spending, the couple racked up $11 million in debt.

While most members of the Housewives series seem to bail on their marriages when the going gets rough, Teresa is loyal to her husband. She used her Bravo fame to start bringing home the bacon. Good for her! What are her new endeavors? A couple of cookbooks, an appearance on Celebrity Apprentice, a new fashion and accessory line called TG Fabulicious Guidette, and her continuing gig with Real Housewives. Could be a winning formula!

Caroline Manzo: Net Worth $8 million (With Husband $13 million)

Caroline is the matriarch of this group and the only woman who has earned her own money. Perhaps it's because she is older than the rest and her children are adults, but Caroline has moved on to the next stage of her life, beyond her role as a mother and a wife.

Caroline has launched several businesses: a children's accessories line, a range of kitchen products, and most recently, a line of handbags and accessories called Caroline Manzo, Family, Faith & Charity. Albert Manzo, her husband of 27 years, is a co-owner of a successful catering company in Paterson, N.J.

Jacqueline Laurita: Net Worth $5.5 million

Jacqueline used to work as a cosmetologist in Las Vegas. Since marrying Caroline Manzo's brother, Chris Laurita, Jacqueline spends her time taking care of their two sons, dealing with her young adult daughter's dramatic life, and keeping up with her beauty regimen. Her husband is the president and CEO of Signature Apparel Group, which created the clothing lines for Jay Z and Eve.

Kathy Wakile: Net Worth $5 million

Kathy is Teresa's cousin. Her fortune comes from her husband Rich Wakile, who is in real estate and retail gasoline. Kathy takes care of their two children and cooks amazing pastries. I predict another Housewife cookbook on the horizon.
