Romantic Movies By Hallmark for Valentine's Day

Updated on November 2, 2014

Don't Wait For Valentine's Day To Choose A Romantic Hallmark Movie

If you are looking for romantic movies you could not go wrong with one by Hallmark for Hallmark has spent decades perfecting the art of making movies that will move you and that contain nothing that will offend you.

On this page, discover some of Hallmark's romantic movies like The Lost Valentine, Love Comes Softly, The Good Witch and Come Dance At My Wedding.

Whether you choose a romantic Hallmark movie for a date night or for a night with the girls, I know you will love this collection of romance movies.

The Lost Valentine
The Lost Valentine

The Lost Valentine

The Lost Valentine had its World Premiere on January 30, 2011, and was extremely successful.

Hallmark Hall of Fame premiered The Lost Valentine, starring Betty White on January 30, 2011. The movie, if visitor comments to my page dedicated to The Lost Valentine are any indication, was a huge success. I watched it and I loved it. My husband and 17-year old son passed by...and were hooked, too.

The story is of an elderly woman (Betty White) who's husband was declared missing in action during the war and of a young lady (Jennifer Love Hewitt) who tries to help discover what happened to her husband. Of course, along the way, the young woman falls in love, too.

Love Comes Softly
Love Comes Softly

Love Comes Softly

You can buy the boxed set or the individual movies.

Love Comes Softly is a family oriented love story set in a different time. Yes, life was tough but romance still existed along with love and faith and, as Hallmark says, it may have been stronger then than it is now. The stories and the hardships in this movie set inspire and entertain. The successes will, too.

The Good Witch
The Good Witch | Source

The Good Witch

The first in a series of Good Witch movies.

I haven't had the opportunity to see The Good Witch but Amazon customer reviews and buzz about this movie, which has spawned numerous additional movies, definitely have me wishing I had.

The Good Witch stars Catherine Bell and Chris Potter and the story is of a bewitching woman named Cassie who moves into a small town and, of course, a mysterious mansion. She opens a shop that sells candles, lotions, etc. and soon meets and entrances the children of the police chief. The children think that she is a good witch but not everyone does and it takes some magic for her to become a real part of the town.

If you just want The Good Witch, you can follow the link shown to the right of this text. I also discovered the fabulous boxed set, shown below, which is a good buy for four Hallmark moves at less than $20!

The Magic of Ordinary Days
The Magic of Ordinary Days

The Magic of Ordinary Days

I really enjoyed The Magic of Ordinary Days but I thought I would let you know that you receive a copy of this book for FREE when you buy the book Hallmark: A Century of Caring, a beautiful hardcover book which shares the history of Hallmark company. The book is more expensive but well worth considering if you are interested in the subject matter. You can read more about the book on Amazon by clicking right here.

Come Dance at My Wedding

Come Dance at My Wedding is a 2009 Hallmark movie.

Come Dance at My Wedding stars John Schneider, Roma Downey and Brooke Nevin. It's a 2009 movie that was released on DVD in 2010 and tells the story of a young lady who learns about life's decisions when she discovers that her absent father's name is on the deed to the dance studio she wishes to sell. She is forced to meet her father who doesn't want the dance studio to be sold and to deal with her fiancé who resents the sudden appearance and interference of the father.
