Shibani Sona Joshi is a reporter for the Fox Business Network. Joshi holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and completed the investment banking analyst program at Morgan Stanley. She also earned a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting at the University of Oklahoma. Joshi is a native of Oklahoma City. She is married to Rahul Advani, a principal for energy investments at Energy Capital Partners in Short Hills, New Jersey and gave birth to her first child on June 2, 2010.
Both her parents are immigrants. Her father, Dileep Joshi, is a retired former vice president for manufacturing and engineering at Lucent Technologies. Her mother, Meghana Joshi, was formerly an information technology manager in Norman, Oklahoma at Johnson Controls, Inc. which operates three business units: Automotive Experience, Building Efficiency and Power Solutions.
