THIS IS THE END TRAILER SONG & SOUNDTRACK LIST
Score by Henry Jackman
Fans have been mega-tweeting Seth Rogen to find out what's the rap Song in the This is the End Trailer and he revealed it's "Watchu Want" by Belief & Karniege. Initially, just a 30 second snippet was released on YouTube but now the full song is available on iTunes and Amazon.com as part of the official movie soundtrack.
Additional music on the This is the End Soundtrack List includes Snoop Dogg cutting it up with Craig Robinson along with songs by Norm Greenbaum, Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys, KRS-One, J-Kwon, Funkadelic, Daddy, Cypress Hill, K. Flay and Church Friends Choir featuring Pamela Landrum.
The CD was released June 11, 2013. This is an awesome soundtrack mix thanks to Jonathan Karp being assigned as music supervisor. Karp's worked on music for This is 40, Bridesmaids, The Five Year Engagement, Get Him to the Greek, Superbad, Pineapple Express, Knocked Up and the list goes on.... I mean, really, who would expect both a Dolly Parton song and Snoop Dogg riff together in the same movie?
The movie's score is by Henry Jackman who is currently riding a hot streak with the success of G.I. Joe Retaliation directed by Jon Chu. Jackman's filmography includes music for films such as X-Men, Wreck-It Ralph and The Dark Knight.
As far as the movie's trailer, you gotta be at least 18 years old to view the red band trailer available on YouTube and Yahoo Movies and it's loaded with f-bombs thanks to the loose lipped, insult slagging Danny McBride. A second red band trailer has been released as a cheeky April Fool's promo that had got fans all excited about a possible sequel to Pineapple Express. Finally a more clean, less filthy green band trailer is now available. The is the End was released on Blu-Ray / DVD October 1, 2013.
Seth Rogen reunited with his Pineapple Express and Freaks and Geeks co-star James Franco along with the always reliable posse of comedy collaborators Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson and Jay Baruchel with a summer release date of June 14, 2013. Look for Craig Robinson in the Tyler Perry produced comedy Peeples with David Alan Grier and Kerry Washington which opened May 10th, 2013 and is coming out on DVD September 10, 2013.
If you haven't heard it already, check out Seth's recent interview with Howard Stern. Clearly Seth is a huge fan of Stern and vice versa. Even though Howard has had Seth on the show before, he does a great job going into Seth's background and how he started so young in the industry, doing stand-up when he was just a teenager to now being only and his thirties and responsible for multi-millionaire dollar budgets.

Featured Songs From This Is the End - Backsteet Boys & KRS-One
Source: K. Flay Biography Wikipedia
From rapper KRS-One (Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone) otherwise known as Teacha or Lawrence Krisna Parker is "Step Into a World (Rapture's Delight) from the 1997 album "I Got Next".
Here's the deal. If you don't mind the naughty words then get the club mix version of "Tipsy" from J Kwon's 1990 album "Hood Hop". This is the version that's used in both "This is the End" as well as in the movie "Project X". But if you've gotta keep it PG squeaky clean then look for the clean radio edit version that's out there.
Laidback hip-hop from female rapper K Flay, a bonafide Stanford graduate who originally grew up in a suburb outside of Chicago. The song is a track from the 2012 album "Eyes Shut".

This is the End Green Band Trailer - Party Like There's No Tomorrow
Here's the set-up established by the movie's trailer for This is the End as voiced by Seth Rogen who picks up Jay Baruchel at the airport. It looks like the guys are playing themselves as Seth tells us that James Franco's having a big party and the guys are greeted warmly by Jonah Hill.
During the party scene you see Michael Cera making a bold play for Rihanna who slaps him down with a warning "Don't touch my bumper". But karma's a bit#h when his number is up. Mindy Kahling makes small talk about having the hots for Cera and when the big explosion hits, it's The Office's Craig Robinson who has little sympathy to rescue Aziz Ansari from Community when he falls into a big sinkhole.
Emma Watson wields a mean ax. You really don't want to mess with Hermione when she's in crisis mode looking for survival supplies. Watson shows a whole other side of herself when under pressure, a huge departure from the Harry Potter series.
They Rescue Actors First - This is the End Movie Clip
The guys who are playing versions of themselves try to figure out what to do. Jonah Hill reassures the group that they'll rescue actors like George Clooney & Sandra Bullock first and hastily adds, actors like himself then you guys, making a subtle dig at his rising box office status.
Playing Hungry Hippo On Your Last Days - This is The End Official 4/20 TV Spot
The guys make funny look oh so easy and it's hard to believe that stoner Seth Rogen is a proper Hollywood producer who has enough smarts to write successful screen plays, manage budgets and act as well.
Who would have thought that James Franco would have the broadest range of acting beyond his initial role as a high school cool kid that was kind of a burn out.
Cast of This is the End - Wondercon Panel
The cast of This is the End engaged the audience with a lovely panel, Seth Rogen appeared in an X-men Wolverine costume while Evan Goldberg played up his confusion over what conference he was attending wearing his own racy black harness & shorts costume with co-stars Danny McBride in a blue flannel shirt and Craig Robinson in a t-shirt.
Spend an Hour With the Cast at Google Talks - Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson & Evan Goldberg
I hadn't realized by Seth also makes an appearance in the revamped, under appreciated tv series "Arrested Development" having also been a part of "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared". If you haven't seen "Freaks" yet, check it out on Netflix. So awesome.

Comedians Playing Themselves
The basic premise of the movie according to Seth was getting a bunch of guys together that they regularly make movies with but they didn't want to play around with a lot of scenes where people are shooting at different times but to make the on screen chemistry work and take advantage of the main cast, it would be critical to have them together in as many of the scenes as possible.
