Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo is my favourite Disney film of all time. It doesn't have the big songs or the love story but it is hilarious. Nemo is taken by divers and it is his dad's job to find him. He is accompanied by a fish who can't remember much and comes across sharks, jellyfish and whales along the way. It is hilarious and heart warming. Of all the characters, Dory is my personal favourite. The kids will love it and so will you.

Cars

This is one of the more recent Disney animations but it has all the features a cool main character, a racing car called Lightening McQueen, a love interest in the form of Sally a witty Porsche and the comedian of the film. Tow-Mater. This story will make you laugh, cry and cringe all at once. And car loving kids will adore it.

Princess and the frog

This is the first Disney film featuring a black princess. It is the original fairytale but rehashed Disney style. It features a crazy witch doctor a vain prince and a barrage of catchy songs. This is another fab movie and one that both kids and big kids will enjoy.

The Lion King

This was re-released in 3D recently and is as good as I remembered. It tells the story of a young lion as he transcends into adult hood. It is a heartwarming and hilarious journey. Apart from the cute and very cheeky lion cubs, Simba and Nala, there is a smart talking Dodo and a sloth and wild boar who make a hilarious duo. This is another great film and a great way for kids to learn a few wildlife facts.

Aladdin

This Disney classic takes the traditional fairytale and turns it into a fabulous musical with a frightening Jafar,a feisty princess and a hilarious Genie played by Robin Williams. The songs are classic Disney, catchy and heartwarming and the story is spectacular. Another great Disney film.

Shark Tale

Will Smith does the voice over for Oscar, a little fish in a big pond, who longs to be rich and famous and tries every get rich scheme in the book to do it. All he want is to live at the top of the reef and be a 'somebody' but he learns a valuable lesson and has a great adventure in his quest to get there. This is a feel good movie and Will Smith will have the whole family crying tears of laughter.

Why are Disney animations worth watching?

Disney animations are great for all the family. The scripts are usually hilarious and the characters always seem to go on amazing journeys and there is something magical about Disney animations that just makes them stand out.
