The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Sixth Season - (Review)
The Big Bang Theory is one of my very television shows!
TV worth paying for!
While I am normally loathe to purchase content that I could watch on broadcast television for free, The Big Bang Theory is the exception. I just had to have my own copies, so that I could watch them whenever I wanted to.
First it was free...
I actually ran into The Big Bang Theory surfing channels at a furnished flat that came with free television, but no guide to what what being shown.Sometimes it would be running on as many as four or five different channels at once, with reruns from all different seasons. Eventually, I was curious enough to stop and watch a whole episode of The Big Bang Theory all the way through, and then I was hooked!
I was still watching them in random order though, and it was driving me crazy trying to figure out what I had missed by not being with them since the beginning. Finally, I broke down and started buying the whole-season DVDs. Totally worth it!!
Here's a quick break-down of the major characters, in case you're jumping in in the middle, too...
Sheldon and Leonard - roommates, scientists, and friends. They live on the fourth floor of a building that has a perpetually broken elevator. In the premier episode they get a new across-the-hall neighbour...
Penny - an aspiring actress, who's working at The Cheesecake Factory as a waitress until her big break comes along.
Howard - Sheldon and Leonard's Jewish friend who still lives at home with the mother who runs his life but is never seen on camera.
Raj another friend, whose wealthy parents are after him to find a nice girl and start producing some grand-babies already!
Individually, they're socially maladjusted, but they support each other through hilarious adventures that leave me with only one complaint about the series. They need to make more episodes!! I just can't get enough! :)
Are you worried that you may have missed some episode of The Big Bang Theory? Go back and watch from the beginning...
