The Home Alone Movie Collection

Updated on August 20, 2017

I think that Home alone 1 and 2 are movies that embrace the Christmas spirit. For this reason they are a great watch on Christmas day with the family or a perfect gift for someone around the holiday season. I think they can also be viewed throughout the year also because of the intense comical aspect of the two movies. In my opinion the two movies were created for just plain laughter. The dropping of tools on someone's head, setting their head on fire and other stunts are just to me incredibly funny. Every time I watch these movies I can't control all the laughter that comes out of me.

Home Alone

Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) is accidentally left at home by his parents when they were all supposed to go on a trip to Paris. Kevin is at home alone when two bandits try to break into the house and steal everything. Kevin tries to protect the house by setting traps that set the bandits on fire, put nails in their feet, and drop things on their heads. In my opinion it will make you laugh your pants off. In my opinion the idea of Christmas and togetherness with the family is conveyed when the whole family reunites and its all smiles and great cheer even in the midst of what happened.

Home Alone 2 Lost In New York

It's a year later and Kevin ends up being left behind by his parents again. This time it's in the airport and he accidentaly boards a plane to New York. There he meets the same bandits and he brings pain to them all over again.
