Who Is Thomas Kinkade?

Updated on January 19, 2013

Thomas Kinkade is known as the "painter of light." He is the painter of some of my favorite things.

I love gardening and gardening scenes, lighthouses, and Christmas. Thomas Kinkade has some of the most beautiful paintings with these themes.

I also love to read, and I really enjoy his Cape Light book series.

Keep looking to check out some of my Thomas Kinkade favorites.

I've been a picture framer for something like 20 years now and so am quite familiar with much of his work, especially the cottage scenes. But you've got some images here that show he has more range than I though. Nice lens. :)

I love Thomas Kinkade, and if I could paint, I'd love to be able to paint such beautiful and uplifting scenes. I give my former in-laws a Thomas Kinkade collectible every year for Christmas, this year it was a snowman, and so beautiful!
