The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of the most famous of all Tim Burton movies. Done completely in pain-staking clay-mation, it is a tale filled with music, romance, humor, and tragedy. Jack Skeleton, the pumpkin king, finds himself tiring of his life in Halloween land. One night he accidentally falls into the world of Christmas land. The lights and colors fill him with a strange feeling inside and he decides to return to Halloween land to uncover the magic of Christmas. Watching Jack from afar is a young girl (created by a grouchy scientist to be his servant) named Sally who longs to be there for him. Blind to her affections, he ignores her warnings and decides to take charge of Christmas by kidnapping Santa Clause and acting as his replacement. Sally must find a way to save Christmas from Jack and the horrors of Halloween before it is to late.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Tim Burton's Dark Twist on Irving's Classic
Tim Burton's tale stars Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane, a constable with "modern" ideas, who is sent to put his scientific talents to use in solving the murders at Sleepy Hollow. Determined to use his modern scientific ideals, he initially rejects the superstitious tale of the Headless Horseman behind the murders. Based loosely upon the true tale of the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd is a dark tale of cruel revenge and sinister intentions. Falsely accused and forced to leave his wife and child behind, Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) has returned to London ready to rebuild his broken life. Instead he finds his wife has died, and his child is a captive to the very man who had him falsely imprisoned. Intent on revenge, he is persuaded by Ms. Lovitt (a long-admirer of his) to re-open his previous trade as a barber. A shaving knife becomes a murderous tool in the hands of Sweeney Todd. Despite Todd's lack of passion for her, Ms. Lovitt finds a way to dispose of his work and cheaply fill her shop's meat pies. Together the two produce of tale of murder, revenge, and meat pies.

He is slowly accepted for his talents and begins to fall for the daughter of his savior. After her initial surprise, the girl he cares for begins to return his affections. Just as things appear to be looking up for Edward, an incident sparks the beginnings of hostility towards his presence. To save himself, Edward must decide where he belongs.
