It's a flattering gown with and off-shoulder neckline that is adored with irises. The sleeves extended to the elbows and are trimmed with two layers of lace. She also has irises as a headdress.

Devdas is a very opulent movie with many lovely costumes. This Costumes wore by Paro (Aishwarya Rai) is fairly simple and subdue for Devdas. It's a purple saree with gold accents and a long sleeve blouse which you don't often see in Bollywood movie. The scene she wears this costume displays her inner strength and loyalty to her love which is reflected in this costume.

Briefly seen in the The Two Towers but actually cut from The Fellowship of the Ring, Arwen (Liv Tyler) wears this gown to bid farewell to the fellowship. the fabric has a silvery patten to it. It has an open label collar. The sleeves go to elbows and fair out into a bell shape. the under-dress is purple that matches a belt. The dress has a sombre sad tone to it that reflects Arwen’s mood.

At the climax of Titanic, Rose (Kate Winslet) wears this light lavender dress. It has a light airy feel to it that reflects her decision to leave her high society lifestyle but contrast with the tragedy of Titanic. The dress has an empire waist-line. It has several layers a sheer fabric of white, pink and lavender. The short sleeves and the over layer on the bodice is sheer. The neckline is angled square and trimmed with lace. It is made complete by a long pink belt. This dress is called the "The Swim Dress."
