TURBO SOUNDTRACK LIST and Songs in the Movie Trailer From Survivor, Salt 'N Pepa, Foster the People, The Chromatics, Cak
Composer Henry Jackman
How is it that Ryan Reynolds ends up with all the fabulous ladies both on and off screen? Once husband to Scarlett Johansson, the voice of Ryan Reynolds woos Emma Stone in the animated movie The Croods and his other 2013 animated movie release is playing Theo, a garden snail in Turbo.
The movie Soundtrack List to Turbo is being composed by Henry Jackman who worked on the music for Kung-Fu Panda Holiday, Puss in Boots, Wreck-it Ralph, Winnie the Pooh and Gulliver's Travels.
The movie also includes music by Snoop Dogg, Run DMC, Tom Jones, Pharrell, Pitbull featuring Lil Jon, House of Pain, Jackson 5, Survivor and Ozomatli. You can also hear a smidge of "Eye of the Tiger" (from the movie Rocky) in one of the movie's trailers. Lots of songs are packed into the commercials and movie's trailers including music from The Chromatics, Cake, Salt 'n Pepa, Foster the People, Reverend and the Makers along with Sugarhill Gang's "Apache (Jump On It)".
Produced by Dreamworks, there are awfully ambitious plans for Turbo. According to Wikiepdia, a video game is being released in the summer of 2013 called Turbo: Super Stunt Squad followed up by a spin-off television series based on the movie is tentatively being scheduled to launch December 2013 called Turbo: F.A.S.T. (Fast Action Stunt Team) as an exclusive Netflix series release.
Slo No Mo, the 2013 Turbo movie that may be fast but certainly not furious is the latest driving themed movie coming out this summer not to be confused with a 1997 Power Rangers movie, a 2009 action short or even a New Kids Turbo movie released in 2010.
Besides Reynolds, Turbo also stars the voices of Paul Giamatti (Rock of Ages, Saving Mr. Banks, Downton Abbey), Michael Peña (Gangster Squad, End of Watch, Luis Guzman (The Last Stand), Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live, The To Do List), Richard Jenkins (White House Down, Liberal Arts, Jack Reacher), Ken Jeong (Hangover Part III), Michelle Rodriguez (Fast & Furious 6), Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, Zookeeper, Friends With Kids), Snoop Dogg and Samuel L. Jackson with a release date of July 17, 2013.

Live Performance "Let the Bass Go" - Snoop Dogg
Somehow the idea of Snoop Dogg doing a kids movie seems like an odd fit, but here he is at this roll-out with three fly girls in blue track suits while he's chilling in a red long sleeve track suit of his own. The girls are doing on the dancing and lighting up the stage in the background while he just has to concentrate on rocking a no brainer of a song especially on the radio friendly lyrics "Bass, Bass, Let It Go".
Sing With Snoop - Relativity Media Released a Lyrics Video on Snoop's Vevo Channel
This a cute lyrics video that you and your kids can play on an iPad or laptop and karaoke. It's an easy to read, fun video that'll let your kids rap along to "Let the Bass Go" with Snoop. Because it's associated with the animated feature Turbo the lyrics are all clean.
"It's Tricky" by Run DMC
What's Old is New Again - Tom Jones "What's New Pussycat"
What makes this song so great is that it's a Burt Bacharach & Hal David tune.

Turbo Official Trailer - Starring Ryan Reynolds
Looks like Ryan Reynolds has at least one decent performing movie at the box office. Turbo at least pulled into the number three spot at the box office, unable to knock Despicable Me 2 from the number two spot. And Turbo had the higher production budget of the two animated flicks, costing a reported $135 million to produce while Despicable Me 2 had a production budget of $76 million.
Ryan's other big movie opening the same weekend was the comic book adaptation R.I.P.D. which based on the movie trailers, I thought was going to be a smash. But the critics trounced it in their reviews calling it a rip-off of Men in Black. R.I.P.D. only cracked the number 7 spot in its opening weekend. Source: BoxOfficeMojo.
