Wesley Stromberg Facts
Wesley Stromberg is a talented singer, songwriter and producer who has been performing in a band since he was 11 years old. Originally from the small town of Sequim, Washington, Wesley moved to Los Angeles at the 16 to pursue a music career. Having grown up in a musical family, Wes has been exposed to and learned music at a very young age. In addition to being a very good singer, Wesley can also play three instruments including Guitars, Drums and Bass Guitar.
Wesley's artistic family was a positive influence on his musical beginnings. His father, William T. Stromberg, is a Grammy nominated composer who was produced scores for a variety of Television shows including Lost. His grandfather, William R. Stromberg, is a filmmaker and special effects artist who has worked on a variety of films, including Titanic. Finally, Wesley's uncle, Robert Stomberg, is an Academy Award winning art director who has worked on a number of films including Avatar, Alice in Wonderland and Master and Commander.
After moving to Los Angeles, Wes' brother Keaton and friend, Drew Chadwick, joined him to reunite their band under the new name Emblem3. Since arriving in LA and settling in Huntington Beach in 2010, the band has been playing the clubs around Los Angeles including legendary clubs like The Whiskey, The Roxy and The Hard Rock Cafe. You can hear influences in the bands music including Sublime, Blink 182 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In September 2012 life turned upside down for the band as their popularity exploded with their audition on X Factor USA. Emblem3 was invited back to the Hollywood rounds and eventually made it to the live shows and finished in 4th place. Their cover of One Day by Matisyahu remains one of the best performances on any of the X Factor shows (see it below). Since that time they have signed a recording deal and we anxiously wait their first release.

I really like this song and it clearly shows just how talented this trio is, both musically and vocally.
