Zac Brown Band-Southern Country at it's Best!

I'd like to introduce you to the Zac Brown Band! They are a group that I really enjoy! Their music is a wonderful mix of country rock and folk music. Perhaps you've heard one of their top hits Chicken Fried! It is a wonderful song that speaks of life in the south where you enjoy your "chicken fried, a cold beer on a Friday night, and a pair of jeans that fit just right"!

The Zac Brown band has a very full traveling schedule with over 200 concerts a year. They are a very up and coming group that is building their fan base through a group of fans that love their music and singing the words to their songs. I was able to experience the fan support at a concert in Atlanta Memorial Day Weekend

I hope you enjoy listening to the videos in this lens! They are a group that is a lot of fun to follow!

Zac Brown Concert- Memorial Day 2009

Chastain Park Concert-Atlanta

I attended a Zac Brown concert with my daughter and her friends on Memorial Day 2009! We had a blast! The music was wonderful and the crowd loved the Zac Brown Band.

They played all of their familiar songs from their latest album The Foundation. It seemed like everyone knew all the words to the songs. I particularly liked Toes. That song always makes me want to head to the ocean!

There was one man in the crowd that really got into the music...everyone was dancing and swaying to the music...but this guy was really into it! He was up on his chair dancing without his shirt on (and believe me..he was not someone that looked attractive that way) but he was enjoying himself.

Chicken Fried, which is the song that really rocketed the band to fame is also one of my favorites. My granddaughters love to sing that song and it's hilarious to hear them sing "like my chicken fried, cold beer on a Friday night and a pair of jeans that fit just right!"

The Foundation - Zac Brown CD

I love this CD. I listen to it again and again. When I first started listening Chicken Fried was my favorite. In February, I was getting ready to go on a trip and Toes seemed to fit my mood and became my new favorite. Sometime last spring I heard Zac Brown sing Whatever it Is on The Tonight Show and I really got to like that song.

I guess my point is, this CD is filled with lots of great songs. There are songs to fit your every mood! Enjoy!!

Zac Brown Band sings "The Devil went Down to Georgia"

I heard the Zac Brown Band sing this Charlie Daniel song when I attended a concert in Georgia on Memorial Day Weekend. The crowd loved this!!

I am not a big country fan, but I do like this band. And I agree with Laraine about that fiddler!
