It is to be noted that 1.5 billion of smart phones have been predicted to be shipped by the end of 2015, a total of 5% increase from 2013. This increasing ratio have switch the cyber-criminals to focus on attacking smartphone users, which can be an alert of massive mobile frauds and threats. The majority destruction can be faced by 79% of android users because of the wider platforms.

Today more than three-quarter of teens are using smartphones with various apps which can be harmful for their virgin thoughts.

According to a report on CBS News for the year 2015 there are about 61.4% of teens using Instagram, 86% Facebook, 60% of Snap Chat, 95% of YouTube. Parents or Legal guardians of today’s generation should know where their kids are focusing on. Let me share about some of the common apps to be cautioned off.

Snap Chat is famous among the teens from 2013 till today. It is used by sharing photos and videos which are automatically destructed after you watch it. It is assured by the creator that after the time selected by the sender the video/image will be burned from their server forever.

  • You can take snapshot of the image shared which can be inappropriate and could be used afterward to threat.
  • It can also provide teens a space to share some nude images/videos as an assurance back in head that it will be destroyed forever after couple of minutes.



This application is friendly within the young adulthood because of all-in-one app uniqueness. You can msgs, call,share videos, sticker emotions, selfie camera, image editor in this one hub.

Things to be cared:

  • There is a hidden chat option in the application where teenagers can share their private msgs, videos which can be disappear after couple of days.
  • This app do not offer the complete removal of data from their server so the things posted or sent through the application can be hacked and misused by any other.



This is a confessional app by logging in you are given opportunity to confess whatever you want to on social media platform.

  • 45% of the content on the application consists of fantasies some of them are sexual and others are inapt to know so.
  • Entertainment news website like as Buzzfeed, follows whisper. It may happen that some fake accounts can make you famous by creating your news and you find yourself in tabloids territory.
