Baby Jason Little Story

Updated on November 1, 2019

Jason

Baby Jason is what my mother calls me each time she rubs her tummy, I sit inside her body thinking if I want to leave the only place safe and comfortable. I'm Jason, an unborn fetus inside the womb of his mother's body. Each and every day I hear the sound of ambulances and police cars, racing to the scene of a crime, I am trying to decide if I ever want to leave my comfort zone.

There are times I hear this lady I call mom, crying and begging a man not to leave her, I assume it was my father. I really got pissed off at what he was saying to her, he was as cold as a Block of Ice. What the hell you want from me? I'm only 16 I don't want a child, I gave you money to take care of the problem and you agreed. You lied to me and told me you did, what the hell you do with the money I gave you? Don't go to my family house and don't ever call me, we are finished. This kid is yours, I'm too young to be a father go find another baby daddy. I heard my mom crying telling him just how much she loved him, he started to laugh I never loved you, have a nice life.

Don't leave me and our baby she cried, after today I never want to see you again. Just leave me the hell alone or you know what's up. In a split second, the voice stops and he was gone.

From inside I could feel her body shaking, God I wanted to jump out of that warm body and comfort her but I'm just a fetus inside her of her body. Once again she started to cry by now I'm angry, with my little feet I gave her a hard kick, one that made her yell. I turn over on my side with tears running down my little face thinking about what my life would be like without a Dad. From the sound of the man, I knew I wouldn't have a Dad to teach me how to play ball or hugged me hard until I cried. I rolled myself up in a ball in my safety zone, I thought about how I was protected inside this warm dark place,'' did I really want to leave.''
