Baby Love Nappy Pants 2012 Review
This is a review of Baby Love brand nappy pants sold in Australia, and a look at the new Baby Love nappy pants inside new packaging of this product coming onto the shelves in 2012.
My toddler has been wearing Baby Love nappy pants from eight months of age. A little earlier than many mothers may consider putting their baby in nappy pants, however if you've read my review of Baby Love Nappy Pants 2011 you would know that I put my little girl in these nappy pants as I had returned to work and she had started Child Care and there was an occasion where I discovered my daughter very unsettled when a carer at the centre put on her regularly nappy far too tightly. For my own peace of mind, I decided to put her in nappy pants as then I didin't have the worry of the way her carers fastened her nappy.
While I am not a fan of regular Baby Love disposable nappies (A standard type disposable nappy with adjustable tabs) due to their shape. They are as wide at the crutch as they are at the waist of the nappy, and they are also not very flexible (The 2011 and 2012 product), I have been however very, very happy using Baby Love brand nappy pants. They are made of soft silky fabric and the entire top of the nappy and down the sides is light-weight and elasticized, as well as being lightly, but securely and comfortably elasticized around the leg area. These features allow the nappy to fit your baby just right.
My daughter is now two and a half years. She is currently wearing Baby Love nappy pants "Walker 12-17kg". They are stocked at most Australian grocery stores including Woolworths and Coles. They feature "The Wiggles" pictures on both front and back, and the pictures are brightly coloured and vary, and include all of your child's favourite Wiggles characters, and have stars on the back. They are a nice looking nappy for a toddler!
In the past few weeks here in NSW both Coles and Woolworths have began to stock them in a bulk pack of up to 46 Nappies (Cost approximately $29.00). There does not seem to be a price rise associated with the new packaging. But I have noticed, as well as the new packaging the nappy pants them self have changed slightly. It appears they are now even more silkier in the outer fabric than previously. Although reasonably subtle, more noticeable is they are more light-weight too, less bulky - Although I never considered them bulky previously. So, I believe the changes which have been made to the nappy pants in this new 2012 packaging has simply improved an already fantastic product.
I feel these nappy pants are the best nappies currently on the market in Australia. They are a perfect alternative to a regular nappy and personally, it gives me peace of mind knowing that my daughter is in the most comfortable disposable nappy available.
