Dealing with teething - teething symptoms

Teething times are difficult times for babies and parents alike, especially first timers.

Your adorable baby is now constantly crying, there is excessive drool to deal with and you don’t know what to do.

The discomfort and the irritation of teething makes a baby chew and gnaw at everything in sight. You need to provide your baby safe and good teethers and toys that you baby can chew on and you don't have to worry about infection..

As parents of a teething baby, life is not easy and you are looking for possible ways of soothing your baby and easing the discomfort and pain.

Here are some tips and practical solutions to soothe and comfort your baby at these testing teething times. Providing soft, healthy and non toxic toys could ease the the irritation of teething to a certain extent.

Symptoms of teething - teething troubles

Is your child gnawing at everything within reach, sticking anything into the mouth? When my baby was that age he would constantly get sick because of this habit.

I had to hunt for the safest and best teether to ensure that he remains healthy. I would be happy to recommend Sophie the giraffe by Vulli toys.

Vulli has set the standard and has an amazing reputation with childcare providers and moms everywhere.

Sophie the giraffe and teething rings

Sophie the giraffee complies with European toy safety requirements, as well as US safety requirements. Sophie is perfect for newborns and older babies.

Sophie doubles up as a toy when it is not a teether and it is light, soft and easy to grasp.

It is perfect for little hands to hold and easy on aching gums, sophie's legs are easy to hold and chew on.

There is more variety if Sophie is not what you have in mind

These toys are sure to bring out the smiles even during the painful period with their delightful squeaks, when squeezed.

These are some of the safest teethers, non-toxic, painted with food colors and you can rest easy when it comes to safety.

The dark spots on the toys and their squeaks, provide visual and auditory stimulation that is much needed at this age.

These are long lasting and delightful entertainers for your darling baby, it also provides you the much needed relief as a parent.

Take care of the drool - drooler bibs and feeding bibs

Along with the teethers, you would need some bibs to take care of the drool which is a part of teething. This set of bibs is value for money, Moms on a budget will love these.

Made out of 65% cotton, 35% polyester, cottons are soft, absorbent and comfortable unlike their plastic counter parts.

The lager feeder bibs would be more appropriate for feeding times, very much like the smaller bibs value for money. They are easy to fasten and remove, machine washable. They come in a great collection of colors and prints.

But before you wash them, just be sure to put the velcro straps on otherwise they snag whatever they come in contact with.

Pretty, baby prints in pastel colors. You have a choice of pink and blue packs. The negative side of these bibs are they are not lined and may soak through!

Munchkin soft-tip infant Spoons

Baby spoons and bowls

Some interesting ways to make meal times happy. Here are some rounded, soft spoons that are gentle on baby’s gums. Designed with a long handle that is comfortable to hold, easy to reach the bottoms of food jars, they are also dishwasher safe. These come in attractive colors. They are flexible and get the attention of your baby. You older children may also want to eat with these spoons as they are colorful and attractive, make sure to have a few extra packs if you have other children below the age of four. It would be important to mention that these spoons are not temperature sensitive, and may come in different colors and not as per the picture on the packs.

Baby food storage Bowls

You may also need some stay fresh, reusable, microwavable food storage containers to enable freezing and storage of food easy. This way you could spend more time with the baby.

Thank you Salaheen, the idea was to make this hub purely Amazon sales hub as I do not have Adsense approval at the moment. I would have done it too!!

Appreciate your suggestions, will implement it in future.

      God bless!

Great (sales) hub! My little Wiggle butt likes a frozen/cold starfish thing that I bought at Walmart. Works great. I just didn't want to get him attached to a binky. Those things are hard to get rid of. Keep up the good work!
