Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System Review
Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System - It's Everything You Need In One Package
The Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System is nothing less than awesome.
Great designs, great colors and built with safety and comfort in mind.
After looking at all the great features of the Chicco Cortina I will never understand why anyone would buy a car seat from one company and a stroller from another.
The Keyfit 30 Travel System is truly a time saving and innovative idea, but that's something Chicco has become known for over the years.
In this Hub we'll look at this innovative idea more closely.

Here's Why This System Is Better Than Most
Some of the strollers I’ve seen that are designed with the same basic idea – unclip the stroller seat and turn it into a car seat – are just plain ugly and old fashioned-looking – and they’re heavy. The Keyfit system isn’t. The stroller frame is made from aircraft quality, lightweight aluminum so with the seat in or out, you’re not going to have a hernia moving it around.
Unclipping a sleeping child from a car seat and putting him in his stroller, means he may get cold and he has to try to reposition himself to get comfortable again – that’s if he decides he’s even going to go back to sleep! Most kids will scream bloody murder but not with the Keyfit. He won’t even know he’s not where he thought he was.
Now back to attractive and comfortable. The Keyfit comes in many modern colors, I’m sure people are as sick of pink, black and brown as I am! The Cortina looks comfortable. It’s well padded, yet secure and the seat is deceptively strong – it has to be by law when it functions as a car safety seat. Inside they are filled with impact-resistant foam and have been designed to protect your little one’s whole body if you do get into an accident.
When the seat becomes part of the stroller you’ll love the easy maneuverability of the Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30. It goes over gravel, bumps, grass and sidewalks with ease because of its solid double front wheels. There’s also plenty of room for mom to carry all the necessities; there’s drink holders on top and diapers, snacks and other stuff can be stowed in the handy storage compartment underneath.
The Chicco people also made it easy to keep your child well protected from the elements – many manufacturers fail to provide adequate, integrated covers to protect your child from too much sun or a surprise downpour. The Chicco Cortina also features a multi-position, flat/recline seat with memory recline, so your baby can be in the best and most comfortable position.
The stroller is designed to accommodate the smallest newborns by installing the attractive, padded infant insert which helps support the baby’s neck, head and back. The system for transferring the Cortina from car to stroller includes an innovative latch design so it’s quick and easy.
The water repellant canopy can be completely removed, the whole system is easy to keep clean and the Keyfit 30 Travel System is a cinch to fold down and stow when you’re done with it. It’s so well made you’ll probably be able to use it for your next baby. I don’t see how anyone could improve on the design of the Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System!
So What Are Your Color Choices?
The Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System has gone through some changes over it's lifetime. It has always been available in a variety of styles and colors although a lot of them are getting harder to find. They're named things like Adventure, Pegaso, Fuego, MIdori, Foxy and Miro which basically tells you nothing about what you're looking at. I guess someone decided unusual names sounds better than red, green, blue, striped etc.
You'll just have to look at them all and pick the one that you like best.
