Smile Smile Smile
I paid my debt by smiling.
I owe them a lot of money but they accept smiles when I need to repay them.
When I was young, that alphabet in red determines how much I can repay them. When I grew older, it was my expression that indicates how much they get back.
As a child, grades were important. That's why so much money were invested in finding the perfect tutor to coach me. Then, soft-skills became a trend. So much were bet on music and I end up owing them alot, alot.
As I grow older, they finally realize academic qualifications are important but not the ultimate importance. Happiness is the only guideline to prove satisfaction which in turn comprise of the highest percentage to determine one's success. That was then, they realized a smile is so much more important than anything else.
I'm still paying my debt - both my smile and cash. While cash is considered the basic means of survival and lys the basic foundation of survival today, my parents still accept smile as one of the means to repay my debt.
Everyone has this debt but which method do you choose you to repay them?
