Hudson Baby Muslin Swaddle Blankets Review
From Babies To Burritos
When my son was born I recall my husband telling the nurse, “So you’ve mummified our baby, huh?” when he saw our son swaddled up as they were bringing him into my room. To me he was wrapped up just like a burrito. And since then, my son is my little burrito, even when he is not swaddled.
But what do you swaddle a baby for? In the womb, a baby has very little space to move and swaddling mimics just that, which helps newborns sleep and sooths them, or so they say. My son disliked to be swaddled after week 2. He always cried and broke free when I tried to swaddle him. But then again, each baby is different, and many do enjoy it.
The are made of 100% muslin cotton (fine cotton). They are multi-use; you can use them to swaddle baby, as a nursing cover, as a carrier cover, etc., etc. They are 46” x 46”. They come in packs of 2 or 3, in blue or pink. Made in China. Hudson Baby Muslin Swaddle Blankets
- The material is lightweight, stretchy, absorbent and breathable.
- They are multi-use!
- They are large.
- These blankets are very soft.
- They make a great gift.
- They need to be washed a few times to get them softer. They are a little scratchy out of the box but they get a lot softer after the first wash.
These blankets are another of my favorite baby items. They are big enough to use them for whatever you need to use them for. I use them as burp cloths. I keep one over my shoulder at all times to wipe baby drool, burp baby, cover baby, and baby loves them. He likes the feel of them even if they are not ultra-soft, and I suppose he likes them as well because they smell like me.
The prints are fun and cute. They are lightweight for summer, and the price is not bad for a pack of three.
