"I Don't Have Time For That"

Updated on March 10, 2012

How many times have you, or someone you know, said "I don't have time for that..."??

Think before you make that statement again.

Everyone has the same amount of time in each day. Everyone has 24 hours. Everyone "has" time. It's all a matter of how an individual chooses to use the time that he/she has.

If something is a priority - or should be a priority - for you, then make time for it. Fit it into those hours that you have each day. It's all a matter of allocation -- and of choosing what's most important to you.

In particular, remember to spend time with people that you love, and on things that you love to do.

Once those hours have past, you can never regain them.

Like your mom always said -- use your time wisely!

You DO have time. Make it happen. And stop making excuses!

Thanks for the comments -- Ironically, I had this topic headline "unpublished" for a week, until I "made time" to write!! I am usually a pretty wordy writer - but I didn't want to lose the thought in too many words. With that said, I very well may make time to expand this article in the near future. I appreciate your taking the time to comment - best wishes...

Yes, time is of the essence...the most we can make of it the better. Years ago this realization really hit me hard...I came to a fork in the road and I began to ask the very question you presented. What was it I wanted to do...if I was given an allotted amount of time on this earth? Looked at the last days of my grandmothers and wanted my last time in life to be different. Time is always a great topic people can relate to...would be nice if you were able to lengthen this hub:)
