Late Night Visit To The Cemetery
How many of you been to a cemetery late at night? Do you think you will ever find yourself wanting to know what will happen if you do go to a cemetery late at night? Well, I never thought I would say this but I went to a cemetery late at night on a Saturday. It was from a haunted ghost tour visit that they were having at one of the most haunted cemeteries here in the city I live in. I'm not one to easily believe ghosts until I see one for the most part. So in order to see if they truly exist, I became brave and went to the cemetery late at night with a friend.
First of all, let me say, it is kind of spooky to be at a cemetery late at night especially if you are expecting to see something. All is silent and kind of creepy, makes you think what can be out there. The tour guides took us around different parts of the cemetery, there was a Chinese graveyard, one for the children, and another for soldiers. This cemetery was known to be oldest cemetery and it was actually bigger but they needed land so they built houses over some of the graves. It is said that some of the homes even have tomb stone in their backyard. Wouldn't that be scary, moving into a house to find a tomb stone in your backyard?
During the tour, they tried to get spirits to kind of make their spirits known but they just didn't seem to want to appear that night. People claimed to hear bouncing balls around the children area but I never really heard anything. The tour guides even gave the spirits permission to pull on someone's shirt or their hair. Then here I was, with my hair in a ponytail, you can imagine how fast I put my hair in front of me.
At one point, some of the people said they saw heads trying to look over the wall in the Jewish area of the cemetery. I tried hard to see what they were seeing but try as I may, nothing popped over the wall. Those appearances really had the tour guides running back and forth trying to figure out if someone was hiding in back of those walls.
Now one thing that really intrigued me or just really kept my interest. There was one tomb stone that really smoked a cigarette, now if that was a hoax with an electric cigarette then I can see how it was easily done. I still have my doubts about that trick being done. But as we were heading out of the cemetery, someone claimed stones were being thrown at them from the Chinese graveyard, I honestly didn't see anything being thrown but one could hear them being thrown.
So after the experience that at the cemetery, I still am not all convinced that it can be all haunted. Like I said, I don't believe in ghosts that easily. The pictures on this hub are ones I actually took, nothing special. But if you have been to a cemetery before late at night, have you ever seen anything that convinced you that ghosts exist?
