MTV and the downfall of America
The Poll is Anonymous Pleas be honest.
Did you have sex before marriage, drink before 21, or try drugs as a teen?
Where is America Going?
When one takes a step back from all the glamor and sparkle of American culture, what do we find?In most cases we find drug addicted, sex driven, amoral scum.
The average role model in the US has a rather lengthy criminal record, and parents these days allow those people to raise their children. They turn the T.V on and and forget the child as they do their various tasks. They openly drink, smoke and in some cases do drugs in front of their children. Alcohol commercials make drinking look like a fun joke, and they wonder why the average American child has tried alcohol by age 12. Children who drink before age 15 are 5 times more likely to develop alcohol problems than some one who waits until age 21. When their parents and role models are seen doing it almost daily on t.v.,in movies,in the news, in advertisements, and in the home, their lives are consumed by alcohol.
The young women of America, with role models like Britanay Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan, grow up thinking that being a cocaine using whore is the thing to be, after all it's "HOT" right? Wrong! Parents let 13 and 14 year old girls dress in clothes not fit for a Hooker and wonder why teen pregnancy and statutory rape are so high in the US. 15 year old girls are getting caught stripping at clubs on a regular basis. Just google it there are thousands of links for different cases. These role models give girls the impression that if they dress like sluts, and act like a whore they too can have a million dollars and a cute little dog in the prada handbag.
The young men of this country are no better off. The sports stars of the US are in the news almost every night for sex crimes or drug abuse. They get the message loud and clear, do steroids and sleep with underage women and you can be on the gridiron or diamond making a million dollars too.
Movies stars and reality t.v. show us that drama and scandals are cool. Fighting and sneaking behind your friends and loved ones are the thing to do on these shows. They get face down drunk and make fools out of them selves and it's cool cause they do it on t.v. There are very few channels left on t.v. that don't show sexual content and drug use to some degree and glamorize it. Go to any high school in the US and you will find your children trying their best to act like their favorite t.v. actors.
Or musicians sing about how cool drugs, alcohol, sex and abusing women is. They have our children walking down the street singing about slapping their ho's and shooting their worst enemy in the face, Or getting high or drunk and killing yourself over losing a girlfriend. We Americans act shocked and surprised by where these children get these ideas. Call me crazy but you know I don't need to show you any stats to prove that since this celebrity wanne be craze, American crime rates have exploded. Even the shows we let our young children watch, glamorize bad language and homosexuality, don't believe me watch Spongebob.
Can one really be blind to the demoralization of America with such things happening in our homes and condoned by our parents. A child can not go to school in the morning without being exposed to sexual material, its on our billboard, walking down our streets and on every channel with little or no exceptions. Our children sit for hours a day playing violent games and rarely ever go out side and explore their world and expand their minds anymore. Our Government pushes further and further from God every chance it gets. Our President runs over the constitution, and smokes while telling kids not to. Our double standards and hiding our immoralities in plain sight. 39% of American children have sex before they leave middle school and that number almost triples by the time they leave high school.
What then people can we and should we do about this?
