Praying for a child to desire a heart like the Lord's is the most important thing any parent can do.

The hardest part of parenting is being the model for how you want your children to grow up to be. Teaching it is so much easier that having to live up to it also. Lord give us the strength because I know I want my children to learn from my mistakes and do better than me.

Very well written! We are to aspire to have a heart after God's and pray that our children do the same. We are also to pray for their future spouse and future children. Such an impact can be made there!
