As weeks pass and months are starting to go by the search for Jhessye has not stopped. We continue to look on a daily basis and hope that someone, some where has seen something in there area out of the ordinary the week prior and the week of her disappearance. The search for Jhessye hasn't been an easy one, we've been looking in Dry River creeks, The desert, Junk yards, etc. We have been stung by bee's and scorpions as well. We also have gotten stuck in the sand in the desert for three hours. With all that has happened we continue to search everyday and we will continue until she is found and we will see to it that Justice is served. If anyone has any information on the where abouts of Jhessye Shockley or have seen anything out of the ordinary the week before or the week of her disappearance please contact Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000 or 623-930-4357.
When is the abuse to children going to end. We need to pass a law called Jhessye's law which requires cps to look deeper into a parents history, and that if a child is returned to a home that a parent is to attend parenting classes each week for a year and that cps is to check on the child twice a week for a year and then once a month a year after that. There should be no tolerance law for child abuse nation wide and if child abuse is reported cps needs to not find it unfounded by just going to a home only once but continue returning to make sure there is no actual abuse happening to avoid heart breaking cases like this. Jhessye the nation love's you, the day you disappeared you found a place in everyone's heart.
