No More Loneliness
The picture to the right is a heart touching email I received by a special friend who's words like a wizard of God, has always done miracles in me. This gave me such an emotional and spiritual Christmas lift that I needed to share just in case it will help.
It also led me to share a story I wanted to share before but didn't know how, wondering if it was too personal since my emotions were stirred; but I am prepared now to share it. This morning I woke up with so much to write even of our dog "Chiquito".
Chiquito is a Chihuahua that my daughter made us take since she works assisting a veterinarian. Her love for animals will take her to have a zoo and make your home another.
I have to confess that an animal is a wonderful companion. This dog is always very attentive to what is going on with us. He is happy and sad whenever we are. Don't you think that people take more care of animals than with humans? I am not questioning if animals are better than humans. I am analyzing those humans, people, fathers, mothers, brothers, uncles, cousins...which are out there somewhere left alone.
The story I will share was going to be shared by Froggy213 in his own visualization, but it was moistened with too much feelings, and for me too soon so he deleted it. Sorry Froggy213 (more sorries will keep coming).
The Family Once Upon a Time
Why Left Alone?
I have a cousin who is "different" from the family. When I was a child my family was very close and all together we used to visit him in the hospital. He is disadvantaged in many ways and we, the family, left him alone.
Using a new route we have to travel, I stopped seeing him. We bumped into him recently hoping no more loneliness for him again. He needs help in so many ways and nobody was there for him to help. He has been bullied, robbed and taken as a fool. I was kind of mad in a way with my family and still am; including myself, for being part of such harm to a family member, a human, a person and innocent; left alone.
At the same time I saw a miracle in him because with his "limitations", just as the words in the poem above: Jesus is right there in him. He really is not alone by the love of God which is with those who open the doors of their hearts and let him live inside.
From the abundance we receive we should give if we really say we have God...let's fill the world with His love! I am learning day by day and this experience has taught me a lesson that I must be a fool if I forget it.
I learned that people have birthdays and his is the 1st of January...where were we? While I can, he will never be alone this day or at least a birthday day card will be in his hands. There are so many details we miss...so many little things that makes others cry when it really does not take much to make a smiling heart.
Ten quotes about being alone
No More Loneliness
I thank God the opportunity of having a life partner like Greg (Froggy213), because he never hesitates in helping others. I thank God for my sister because she gave up her birthday festivity on December 4 to help clean and clear up his yard with her family. The best gift my sister got was the portrait of gratitude my cousin had and will be held in our hearts in remembrance that he still has needs.
Matthew 3:6 says, "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,"
It is not my intention to say what we did, only to encourage: to separate a little time which it is not much for someone that needs a lot and to those that feel loneliness that you are not alone. Christ was born as a gift for us. He was crucified for us and risen to be with us forever.
John 14:23 "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
