Novelty Baby Items
Gift-giving for infants can be a fun experience whether it's for a baby shower, birthday party, or Christmas.
Having infants or babies around Christmas can create some gift-giving challenges. What do you buy a newborn for Christmas? Sometimes that depends on whether you're the mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, or just a friend of the family.
I think it's a great idea to include the infant in all of the same rituals you go through for the older children. Give them a stocking and fill it with age appropriate items. Some examples might be a novelty pacifier or bib. Maybe a holiday rubber duck for bath time. Be sure to give them a few colorful gifts under the tree as well.
They have so many cute things out there for infants or babies.
Novelty Baby Pacifiers
These are just a few of the many baby pacifier styles you can find for that infant in your family this Christmas.
There are styles with teeth (Bubba teeth, vampire teeth, buck teeth and more!), luscious lips, grills, animal snouts and more.
Holiday Baby Rubber Ducks
Rubber ducks come in so many varieties for baby's bath time. Why not buy a holiday rubber duck? They come in reindeer, Santa, and snowmen.
Light-up Airplane & Runway Bib
This cute bib makes feeding time fun! The LED lights in the bib are motion-activated and resemble an airplane runway. The lighted LED jet airplane has 3 spoon attachments. The attachments are dishwasher safe.
Mini Maniac Baby Bibs
Mini Maniacs bibs are handmade with high quality mildew-resistant pleather backing and cotton novelty fabric. Each bib includes a related toy insert enclosed in sturdy clear vinyl. The bib has a Velcro closure. You simply clean them with a damp cloth and let them air dry.
Some of the styles shown here include:
- Bow tie tuxedo
- Lawn king with mushrooms and garden gnomes
- Football
- Surfing
- Bling with Microphone
- Skulldugger and Sugarbooger
- Pearls
- Cupcakes
- Sailor
Mama Roo Bouncer
The Mama Roo Baby Bouncer has five settings and looks like a chic futuristic pod chair. It bounces your baby up and down and sways from side to side. The speed is adjustable. It was designed to simulate the way a mother comforts and soothes a baby unlike many swings or bouncers. The fabric is removable and machine washable.
The five settings are:
- Car ride - A figure eight on its side
- Kangaroo - Lots of up-and-down, less side-to-side
- Tree Swing - High on the sides, low in the middle
- Rock-a-bye - Low on the sides, high in the middle
- Ocean Wave - Around in a big circle
Mud Pie Baby Clothes
Mud Pie makes the cutest little infant and toddler clothes.
You can find a wide assortment of cute Christmas holiday Mud Pie styles to choose from. You'll find decorative onesies, socks, bloomers, headbands and two-piece outfits.
Pictured here is a Christmas Santa hooded onesie and 2 pair of holiday sock leggings.
How cute are they?!
Gift Baskets
Gift baskets are always fun to give. One of the things I like about gift baskets is that people always light up when they see one. It's like handing them a treasure chest. Who can resist digging through it to see what all is inside? It usually provides a wide range of items, both practical and cute.
