On “Losing Yourself” in Motherhood (Pt.1)
If you want to find something, it stands to reason that you must, first, lose it.
“...use the “energy of lost” as a catalyst to becoming who you most desire to be”
What if I told you that one of the most beautiful and important parts of motherhood is FEELING LOST?
What if I told you that losing your sense of self is absolutely essential to your success as a mother?
What if I told that losing your identity is imperative to your well being and the well being of your children and marriage/partnership?
This may sound crazy and counterintuitive in today’s cultural climate, but it’s true.
As women, mothers, wives and partners working to raise a family, we can all identify with the struggle of holding on to who we are as individuals and the often terrifying feeling that we are losing ourselves in the fight.
What if I could show you that you are safe? That you are on the exact path you need to be on to be your best?
What if I told you that what you are feeling is nothing to fear but something to embrace? That it is BEAUTIFUL, not because of what you LOSE, but because of what you’ll FIND.
Because, if you want to find something, it stands to to reason that you must, first, lose it.
In this series of posts, you will learn why ”lost” is exactly where you need to be, how to use the “energy of lost” as a catalyst to becoming who you most desire to be and how to find peace in this space of growth while you are on the journey.
You are on the right path.
