ACK There are Stickers Everywhere!

Everyone seems to give my kids stickers. they get them in cards, letter, at the store, school, church, and places I never imagined. I hate when stickers get stuck on things. It drive me nuts. I am not by any means a clean freak but stickers mean I have to spend more time cleaning something instead of playing with my kids.

I washed a shirt not too long ago that happened to still have a sticker on it - it must have been a powerful sticker because it ruined the shirt. The stickers became my enemy, okay not really.

So I found a solution

The Sticker Book

The sticker book was born. I went out and bought a plain journal for him to place his stickers in. Now he doesn't even want to put the stickers on his clothes, he just wants to put them into his special book. It is really about giving him a place where he can claim is just his.

The other day he realized his younger brother did not have his own sticker book so off to the store we went to get little one his own sticker book. Now if I can just get little one to stop putting band aids all over the house.

Any notebook, journal, sketchbook will create a great place to place stickers.

Do your kids love stickers?

Good Idea - I would be afraid it would run out of room with all the stickers we have but to give them a spot or object to put them on would work

My aunt let her kids put them on one laundry basket so they felt like they were sticking them on something. That might be a nice idea too ;-)
