Preteen Model Sites - Legitimate Agencies or Child Pornography?

Updated on September 9, 2011

Time to Crack Down

There are thousands of modeling agencies listed on the world wide web, but in many cases, they're nothing more than web pages offering pictures of scantily clothed young girls, wearing thongs, and placed in provocative and sexually suggestive poses. These sites advertise "100% No Nude" photos, yet, the pictures that are offered are sickening to anyone who has young daughters.

Of course, there are legitimate modeling agencies throughout the country, and it's best for one to seek them out locally prior to searching the net that promises to make stars of aspiring or established young models. Recently, a friend of a friend had engaged in a modeling and acting session and the web address had been given to my friend so she could view the her friend's progress. Everything appeared on the up-and-up and the session went well. There were several links on the page that had been viewed, and when one had selected, it opened a new site offering pictures of girls between the ages of 6 and 13 in very scantily attire.

My first thought was, "Where are the parents when these shoots are taking place?" Surely I thought, most of the parents of these girls didn't know the pictures were taken - I would allow no one to take those types of pictures of my daughter.

One of the problems one will encounter when searching the net for a legitimate modeling agency is not knowing what will open when clicking a link. Some pages offer several links which are placed on a page as banners. The pictures on MOST of these banners are disturbing in the way that they offer photos of teen or preteen girls in thongs or underwear in very provocative poses.

One suggestion when searching for a teen modeling agency is NOT selecting one that uses the words loli, lola, nymphet, hot, extreme, or anything that would suggest something distasteful.

I find it disgusting that there are so many sites that offer child pornography, and what's worse, they are easily accessible. I believe it is the search engines' duty to remove all supposed legitimate modeling agency listings if they offer suggestive poses of young children. Google's search engine posts a notice as such - In response to a legal request submitted to Google, we have removed 4 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read more about the request at ChillingEffects.org when certain results are questionable. Well, they are missing a whole lot of sites and I for one, would love to work from home to rid the web of these sick, demented people who, not only offer these provocative photos, but make a ton of money doing so.

The Bottom Line - Teens and preteens reclined on a bed, sitting in a chair, or bending over, camera shooting from the back, legs spread in a provocative pose... is this modeling or child pornography? I'm sorry, but I cannot see this as any type of decent modeling. My wife and I entered our son in a beauty contest some 20 years ago and most parents offered a portfolio of their children. Not one time did I observe a child, boy or girl in a provocative pose. These portfolios offered the viewers smiling faces of girls in frilly, bright colored dresses or sun suits; the boys, in jeans or slacks, sometimes shorts and shirts. So many of the modeling sites that offer pictures of young children today are disgusting, demeaning and cruel.

I for one would like to begin a campaign to petition the proper channels of the United States Government to close MOST child modeling sites down, and in cases where children are being asked to pose in provocative positions, there should minimally be fines levied against the webmasters. Government agencies use monies to pursue criminals involved in drug trafficking, prostitution rings, and illegal arms runners, why then, can't our children be protected from these predators? It does not take much effort to learn the names of the owners and webmasters of these sites.

It is an insult to anyone with a smidgen of common sense when these sites use the words,Non Nude, 100% legal, or Art in the description of their so called modeling sites. Offering a few 'eye candy' preview photos, then, if one is a bit demented, they can pay a sizable fee for a complete set of photos. I dare not imagine just how provocative or demeaning the photos in these available sets might be.

It's high time OUR government cracked down on child 'modeling' sites in the United States.

I posted on this site about 5 years ago saying how I wished the sides would be removed.I've reported several sides if not hundreds over the course of the last 5 years and would like to say that a lot of the sites I have reported have been removed. We can make a difference and we should. Anytime anyone sees the side that is distasteful of these child models Turnitin - asacp

If you do come across one of these sites. Where can they be reported to? Personally I think anyone that takes pictures like that of children needs to be locked up with murderers that have daughters of their own. Ere is a fine line between modelling and child pornography. Personally if I had a daughter. She wouldn't have any pictures taken of her unless she is covered neck to toe with no skin showing.

Americas leaders should be sued and thrown in prison for not putting a stop to this. It is there duty to put a stop to this and if they say they try than they lie. There are hundreds if not thousands of these sites out there and its not hard to find them. Clearly they arnt doing anything to stop this. I wonder what our government would do if people start posting drugs for sale on the internet, I promise you they would put a stop to it asap, so I guess pics of young children in g-strings with there legs spread is ok. Proud to be an american...not so sure

as far as pictures of innocent children spreading there legs wearing nothing but a tiny g-string

The poses they put these little girls in ARE sexually suggestive and there is no one who can say a word of argument otherwise. Under the age of say 12 I think their non nude posed in sexual positions is absolutely disturbing and sick no matter what country it is. After 12 is still SO questionable and depending on the position and clothes and level of sexuality, still on the sick side. But fact is that even kids as young as 2 get aroused and rub themselves. That is NOT an argument that it is ok for grown adults or even other kids to be getting off on them. But MAYBE a reverse age barrier law makes some sense for these kind of things. Kids are beginning to be sexually active around the age of 12, kissing or whatever they feel is in their scope that they can get away with. So maybe having young girls 'non nude' out there no younger than 12 for sure, but maybe not younger than 16 for kids in their age range, but block these sites from people more than an acceptable age range away. Does that make any sense? Sexual development is important. I think hiding it from your kids can only make them grow up to be one of the many sick fucks out there. I don't see a problem with a 14 year old wanting to rub off to 12 year olds , but I do see a huge problem with a 16+ year old wanting to for sure. I don't see anything wrong with a 25- wanting to have sex with a 16+, but I do think its too much of a stretch after 25 and even that may be a push. The point is that expressing ones sexual desire is important to our psychology, and for kids 12 - 17 most parents definitely would rather their kid get off to pictures or videos than with another kid. And there is another issue to consider. Maybe an even harder one. When I looked into these sites I found naturist sites with girls of all ages completely nude but not in any even lightly sexual way, and I found no offensiveness in this at all. Where all these non nude sites were consistently posing girls that could have been as young as 2 sexually. Still despite being non sexual I am still inclined to say that I believe it is NOT ok to EVER take a picture of a child nude, especially at an age of pre sexual awareness. Just because its not sexual of nature doesn't mean some sick fuck isn't out there fucking his fist over it(or hers it may seem in the US). This is a rough subject, because you don't want to draw a line to low, but you have to remember being a kid too. I know I used to masturbate and get SO horny over being naked when I was only 5. I would dream of seeing the girls I went to school with naked and fantasize over having various sexual contacts with them even though I didn't fully know what I was fantasizing about. I had my first sexual contact with a girl when I was 6, we would rub each other. I caught my brothers daughter fucking her car seat buckle when she was 2. So healthy sexual expression is definitely a part of life even for kids.

Kids should feel sexually comfortable and flaunt their beautiful bodies, booties and skin, all the time! I say: "Use it, and enjoy it while it lasts".

Once they grow up, no sane person (sane = not in love, personally insecure or motherhood obsessed) would want to see them naked. This is the very reason why humans decided to wear clothes in the first place - because the ADULT physique is a sad atrocity, nothing more.

Don't deprive the children of their ONLY lifetime chance to feel wanted and desired, simply because you find it tasteless - what kind of a heartless creature are you?

I didn't have the opportunity to prove that I was sexy, I don't feel sexy and since I am an adult, the closest I might get to that recognition, is to manipulate and convince some half-wit (s)he loves me, and then use those emotions of loneliness and longing to take advantage of and "trick" them into having sex with me, which they would not ever naturally do, of their own volition. I can NEVER be truly sexy (as in, only the flesh/genitals alone!) ever again. And I will envy and covet that forever. In rage.

Most of these sites are based out of countries such as Russia and Amsterdam where, like it or not, it is completely legal. And they are actually allowed by law wheras they are on the internet. The laws pertaining to the internet are few and thinly strung so to speak. Being a global media, no one country or government has the right to enforce what may or may not be put on it, unless those posting are in that country. For instance, if someone in the US put up nude pictures of a child, they can be arrested, the pictures removed, etc. But, if someone in Russia puts up a site with similar pics, but it is legal there, then there is nothing any other government can do to remove it from the internet.

You have to keep in mind that there are different cultures from ours that may view these sites as ok or normal. Where men take wives we would still consider children (10, 11, 12 years old). We may find it deplorable, but that is how we have been brought up in our culture. I actually have a friend (now 28), from Amsterdam who doesn't understand the fuss. To the culture she was raised in, its ok and normal. (Shrug) personally, it isn't something I care for. But I understand that its not the place of the US to start imposing its own will upon other nations due to our differing views. The best way I can look at it is that if you find it distasteful, do as I do and simply avoid it.

What's all the fuss over these child model sites? Go to any public pool or beach and you see young girls laying on their stomachs with their legs spread open or doing cartwheels. So? You don't see the Feds arresting the parents do you? There's pics of gymnasts and contortionist everywhere and their poses are way more provocative then the child models. I've seen a contortionist do her thing at a mall once and she puts her legs over her head, her chest flat on the floor, exposing her privates for all to see. And that's not the only provocative pose she did. She was about 8 or 9. I don't see the Feds arresting anyone at those events. I don't see any difference in the poses of child models and gymnasts or contortionists. Why no uproar over contortionists? the writer of this article finds child model pictures sickening but not gymnast poses or contortionists? Come on let's get real here. It's called hypocrisy folks.

There's a few new legal developments that need to be mentioned here. Did you know that the Supreme Court has declared that child models no longer have to be even "semi" nude for their photos to be considered Child Pornography!? The kids can be "fully clothed" and if the court decides that the images are "suggestive" in any way, your === is legal HASH!!! No "nudity" required!! Do you know what THAT means!!??? It means that 1. All those "non-nude" child modeling websites go WAAAAY off into illegal territory!! And.2, it means that those so-called 100% "LEGAL" websites are probably now being run by the COPS and the FEDS!! And when they tell you that those websites are 100% "LEGAL", they're 100% "LYING!!" Man, if you've ever visited any one of those so-called "LEGAL" child modeling sites, it's probably just a matter of "time" before they get to YOUR I.S.P address (now located on their servers ) and "BAM!" The authorities will be bustin' down your door!!! It's probably too late to stop that now. If you have NEVER visited any of those so-called non-nude child modeling sites, take a nickel's worth of free advice, and STAY FAR FAR AWAY!! Those websites are devastatingly EASY to visit! And ALL sex-offenses are 200% "ZERO LIABILITY" crimes!! Hey hey hey, you try to view kids in the nude ( or "NON" nude ) and believe me, you'll PAY PAY and PAY!! That's all I gots to say!

Just did a few bing image searches for non nude modeling. Now I am afraid I may be sent to prison, thanks. How does bing allow topless photos of children in their image search results. Can you get arrested just for searching the topic in bing images and all this stuff pops up? I did not click on any of the links but bing has infected my laptop with this filth. Would a simple image search be illegal? I would assume topless or nudity of anykind would not be legal in the U.S.

Here is some super honesty. I have no kids so I don't have that parent view on the closeness and wanting to care or protect a kid as they would. I am a man of thirty years. I went to these sites and found myself a little aroused by what I saw. This disgusted me. I am a man engaged and I love woman WOMAN! I have to say this kind of crap is what causes our world to become perverted. At first I was confused as to why it aroused me, but then I realized look at what they are wearing. Butt cheeks hanging out, smooth thighs, things I am use to seeing on woman. I do not want to see it on a girl or even a boy which I came across. His butt CHEEKS WERE HANGING OUT OF HIS SHORTS! WHY!!!!!!!!!!! So I agree this kind of modeling is dangerous and yes it needs to be stopped. Just being honest and to all you parents hold your babies protect your babies boy or girl and let them know they don't need to show so much skin in order to be seen as beautiful! A true model scout will know right away if that child is marketable without seeing any skin! Peace!

HOW DO YOU THINK BROOKE SHIELDS CLIMBED TO HER SUCCESS? SHE POSED IN PROVOCATIVE POSESIN PENTHOUSE MAGAZINE AT THE AGE OF 9 AND ALSO MADE A VERY SUCESSFUL MOTION PICTURE AT THE AGE OF 12 WHER SHE PLAYED THE PART OF A CHILD PROSTITUTE AND WAS POSED FULLY NUDE. THE NAME OF THE MOTION PICTURE WAS CALLED PRETTY BABY.; AND WHAT ABOUT JODIE FOSTER ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL ACTRESS , WHO PLAYED THE PART OF A 12YEAR OLD STREET WALKER THAT ROBERT DE NIRO WAS FIXATED ON, IN THE MOTIN PICTURE TAXI. THESE ARE TWO EXAMPLES OF HOW SEXUALLY PROVOCATIVE YOUNG GIRLS CAN ATTAIN A SUCESSFUL FUTURE. FOOD FOR THOUGHT .

Can someone please tell me if these preteen model sites are actually illegal. It is pointless to argue back and forth about this subject any longer. They appear to all be legal, seeing how there are hundreds of thousands of them on google and other search engines. I don't think that they can even make these illegal in the U.S. due to the constitution and peoples rights. This is what the mainstream pop culture in america is all about anyway, sex. Do you not think that little girls don't see that Nicky Minaj shaking here ass like a whore on tv and don't want to emulate her. This is just a symptom of the times we live in. Girls are maturing faster than ever, scientists say it is because of the food they are eating. I don't think so. It is because they are being brainwashed into showing off their young bodies to get attention. Our society teaches them that their only worth something if they are seen as physically attractive to older males. Parents have to teach them that this is wrong, not the government or google. I predict that this is never going to be banned in the U.S., in fact I would not be surprised if in a few years this type of shit will be on cable tv and based in the USA . It already kind of is on that one toddlers and tiaras show. Little girls dress so provocatively in public nowadays sometimes it is hard to know how old they are. They only do this for approval that they are not getting at home. In the end it all comes down to greed and human beings are corrupted by the chance for power and dominance. We are moving slowly back to the days of old when the blade ruled the world and not compassion for humanity. In this world women were only seen as sex objects as they are in much of today's so called modern society. We are no different than the barbarians of the old world, we just have ipods.

If the men who view these sites are sick then the young girls who pose in them are sick as well. Why? Because they know exactly what they're doing. Sexual interest and curiosity does not begin at puberty. It begins at a much younger age. As an "older man" I find the girls (most of them anyway) to be incredibly sexy and beautiful and a pure joy to look at. If this makes me "sick" then I guess I'll just have to be sick. It's a 'sickness" I can most definitely live with.

Ya know, you're funny. Say did you ever read the Bible? It is in that book you can read how little girls were sold to keep families financially able to survive. Even with the beginning of the U.S.of A. ;Prostitution was a legal profession and the average age was eleven years old. It has only been in the past 90 years that we have had a legal age put into focus and we have made this once great world subserviant to women. If you don't like what parents are doing to their children for their money needs then maybe you want have a socialist government that gives us a better reality. Otherwise you can complain all you want and it won't do any good.

While living many years in Germany, the first thing I noticed is that many people are not hung up on viewing the nude human body. On national TV, women are shown washing their hair from the waist up, not the shoulder up like American TV. Many children at the swimming pool don't even wear a swimsuit unit they are at least 6, many not even until they are 9 or 10 or even older. And females frequently take off their tops to sun bathe.

The only thing I find wrong with any of this is the fact that many of these sites with thongs and other tight fitting underwear actually make the children look sexier than if they were completely naked. A nude child is not sexy. A child in tight underwear posed the right way can be sick to look at!

Legitimate modeling agencies such as Ford, Elite etc. also feature more than their share of pictures of 15-17 girls wearing thongs, unbuttoned shirts, sometimes no shirts, etc. Famke Janssen posed topless for a national magazine at the age of 14 with only her arms covering the ta-tas, & this was in the 80s! Melanie Griffith was nude in a movie at 14 in a scene with a middle-aged actor! And this was in the '70s! True Teen Babes & other such sites are no more or less provocative than the big-name agencies that hire teenage girls to model in the same way that their adults do. So instead of accusing everybody who subscribes to such sites of being a child molester, open up a copy of Seventeen magazine sometime! You will see girls the same age in the same stages of undress. I personally don't join these sites, mainly because I don't want to be ripped off or have my computer hacked with spyware, but the content itself is not what I have a problem with. I will proudly watch my VHS copies of Blue Lagoon I & II, and Paradise. Get a life, and remember Jesus' sermon the mount!

RE EZLO, pretty graphic for someone who does not enjoy this type of legal material. You people should just give it a rest already. Quit trying to demonize everything in our society and turn different forms of art into illegal content. I am no child molester, and how dare you make the accusation that I could be. Looking at a few legal pictures you come across on the web does not make you a child molester. Its people like you that will throw people to the slaughter even when there is no actual proof that someone did commit a crime. Looking at pictures = life in prison WTF! Can't you people see that the government is slowly taking our freedoms away. They are just testing us with something so vile that no one will question the severity of the punishment. Just looking at pictures should never equal years to life in prison, ridiculous. Making said material or profiting from it is another story. Just recently a bill passed to allow the federal government to detain U.S. citizens indefinitely. They are testing us and waiting to see how subservient we actually are before they drop the hammer on us. Get real and stop watching FOX news like its your fucking religion. This filth is never gonna be illegal, Hell it is even on mainstream T.V. now. Worry about things like, will I be eating from a trashy ditch next year when the economy collapses. Or will I have to defend myself from my own government when they try to take what little freedom I have left. Don't worry about some perverted shit on the internet that is only their because our government actually wants it there, politicians need fapping material too.

These sites are never going to be pulled off the web. There is to much money to be made from promoting this sort of so called art photography. It is art to some but to others it is immoral. It is astonishing how many people are looking at this material on a daily basis. I have researched this on websites such as quantcast, webinformer, alexa, robotex, and many other data collection sites. The demographics are usually caucasian adult males viewing this content. Nudists sites also seem to fit into this psuedo porn grey area that exists on the web. I do feel that this stuff should be legal in order to protect our civil rights within the U.S. We cannot outlaw clothed pictures of children in non sexual situations because this would take away certain rights most people enjoy daily. Where would the censorship stop. I admit these sites are intended to catch a certain deviant demographic but these same people would get the same pleasure from looking at a JCpenney catalog. You cannot outlaw something because a few people look at it in a different way. For these reasons these sites will never be illegal and will continue to flood the internet in years to come. The feds in the U.S. do not seem to concerned with this content for the time being and no one to my knowledge has been charged with a crime for looking at preteen modeling sites or nudist sites. If someone knows otherwise please let me know. I believe this debate has been going on since the turn of the century and nothing has changed on the net. Everyone of the websites that posts this content is located over seas but some have owners within the U.S. The government is powerless to do anything in order to stop this because these sites are actually legal based on current U.S. laws and these laws cannot change due to violating the First Amendment of the constitution. They can be deemed obscene if they fail the Miller test for lacking serious artistic value. This test can be interpreted in so many ways it does not work as a standard and should be changed. Critics of obscenity law argue that defining what is obscene is paradoxical, arbitrary, and subjective. They state that lack of definition of obscenity in the statutes, coupled with the existence of hypothetical entities and standards as ultimate arbiters within the Miller Test (hypothetical "reasonable persons" and "contemporary community standards") proves that federal obscenity laws are in fact not defined, do not satisfy the vagueness doctrine, and thus are unenforceable and legally dubious. The fine line that these sites exist on cannot be changed due to the constitution. I am not in any way promoting this type of content but I am promoting freedom of speech for everyone not just some.

These sites should not be illegal, yes the girls are clothed or somewhat clothed but if you click on a gallery or a picture it could take you somewhere where they are not clothed and the girls are all not probably 18 years old and if they are 18 they sure look damn young in which the site should at least be investigated it's not like theses sites are hard to find.

yes, your diatribe was too long; typical of those who like to hear themselves and do not listen to what others have to say.

in my post i said that we do NOT turn into sexual beings when the clock strikes midnight on our 18th birthday.

in other words (and i thought this site was visited by somne intelligent beings so i did not feel a need to elaborate on this) it is precisely my point that we are sexual beings well before our 18th birthday; so this whole 18+ is a very arbitrary line (it used to be 21; so let me wonder about why we "suddenly have become more sexually mature" in those three years)

next fricken time read...read...read what others have to say....you spent an awful lot of energy and space on "setting me straight", you sanctimonious jerk

i went to some of those so called model/art sites that have young girls barely clothed. Showing a ten year old spreading her legs and showing her underwear isn't child art. A kid drawing a picture in crayon of their family dog is art, the stuff these guys are showing is just lewd and shouldn't be legal, but that's just my opinion.

I read this article and commented 16 months ago apparently, and in checking back now I see that people are still unintelligent and narrow minded. I mean seriously- if you're all so deeply offended by these kinds of things, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT THEM?! Are you on a crusade or just looking for a different kind of cheap thrill. It's okay to look at little half-naked girls if you report them as sick, right? And it's not just preteen modeling sites - no, you guys troll You Tube for "disgusting" videos just so you can flag them. Well, thank you all for doing your part to clean up society. It's a dirty job, and I'm sure you must hate it. Give me a break. You're just as perverse as the rest of us. And THAT'S OKAY!! We're all free to do as we please, so long as we don't impose our will on others or force others to do things against their will.

So these kids don't understand the full implications of what they're doing... so, then they still have their innocence, then! Kids LIKE being naked, at least until the overbearing adults tell them it's wrong. Ever been to a nudist resort? Kids are naked all over the place, and there's not a boner in sight. Why? Because it's our natural way. Religious folks: If God wanted us to be naked, we'd have been born that way! So is God a pervert, too?

I love the guy who commented that "we're not sexual beings until midnight on our 18th birthday." I'm hoping he was kidding, because that's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Someone else mentioned that babies can orgasm. Boys in junior high school masturbate like crazy, and girls as young as ten - and sometimes younger - have had their first period. What the heck changes from 11:59 of age 17 and 12:00 age 18? NOTHING! For that matter, what is PHYSICALLY different between a 15 year old and 19 year old? NOTHING! Sure, they're more "mature" and experienced at life, but there are plenty of 14 and 15 year olds capable of making a responsible decision about their sexuality. They may in fact be more prepared than some 20 year olds. Age is a number. It's ridiculous to think everyone is the same. Individuality is what makes humans so awesome.

There are plenty of teenagers having sexual relationships, and there have been since time began. It's a primal motivation, and there's nothing that can or SHOULD be done to curtail it. Better education is helpful, but kids - mostly teenagers - are going to have sexual experiences. It's easy to say that 5 and 6 year olds shouldn't be portrayed in provocative poses, but I maintain that dudes sitting in front of the computer looking at girls that were having fun - as Katya said - are NOT criminals. They are being responsible to keep their socially unacceptable but perfectly normal desires to themselves. We are all free to think as we choose. Again, so long as we don't impose our will on others.

I read an article in a police magazine last year about child porn, and the author - a police office SWORN to uphold the united States' Constitution - wrote in all seriousness that law enforcement should be allowed to CURTAIL the Bill of Rights to catch child pornographers. THAT to me is a far more heinous crime than the photogs that shoot kids with their consent. As I said in my first post, and I think I've made clear here, I don't condone any kind of abuse, and only stand behind the photographers that shoot models of all ages without abuse and with respect. And that someone else suggested that Google should CENSOR certain words and prevent linking to these "questionable" sites - GO LIVE IN CHINA! Free speech means FREE SPEECH. It's the right to offend. The right to say "I like teenage girls" and the RIGHT to be left alone. If ONE of us is prevented from speaking our mind, NONE of us have free speech. That's what makes it free! It's not "free to agree with what's considered normal" speech. And it IS an appropriate defense. Someone else said it's something to hide behind. No, it's the TRUTH. You are ALL entitled to your opinions that these modeling sites are disgusting. If that is your belief, DON'T LOOK AT THEM. Leave them be. There are plenty of types of pornography I find disgusting, and if I want to look at porn, I avoid things I don't like. I don't try to make laws against people not being depicted regurgitating, for example. I don't report sites that feature that sort of thing as illegal or immoral. I just don't look at them! If you fight something, you're still caught up in it. Remember that. If you stay away from it, you're free.

I will defend each of your rights to have your opinions, even if they disagree with my own. THAT is what makes a free society great. As each of you work to turn America into the former Soviet Union, you'll usher in a society like the Ukraine's that allows child pornography, so get on that will you! Stop policeing your neighbors and start taking back the FREEDOM stolen by the government you think is protecting you. Have your opinions, but DO NOT impose them on others. Share them, fine. DON'T FORCE CONFORMITY!

Sorry this is so long, but I love my freedom to share my opinion, and I hope someone will learn something in all my soapbox babbling! Peace, health and happiness to all!

to andrew and the judge and anyone else:

those who know they are treading on thin ice will do whatever it takes to find ways to circumvent the law.

they will hide behind "beauty pageants", behind "cute childhood photographs of toddlers innocently exploring their own genitals" (and, truth be told, who has not???)

of course some of this stuff is put on the net for the sheer purpose to titilate ; some of this stuff is so borderline, but the guy who is into little girls can find quite a bit of satisfaction looking at these "cute innocent little ones while masturbating to their hearts' content.

      hey ted,

good questions; i am not a legal expert, but i do know that there are as many ways people get turned on sexually, as there are people on this planet.

and the sight of a pre-teen with barely visible budding breasts under a see-through garment i am sure will drive some guys crazy.

is the nakedness in and of itself sexual?

and would that constitute kiddie porn?

is there a porn line to be drawn even within the pre-teen segment?

some violent kiddi-porn confiscated shows purportedly toddlers as young as two being sexually manipulated.

if this is so, what about all those paintings of naked little cherubs?

could they not set off a guy whose proclivity is little boys?

and those pre-teen beauty pageants i talked about in my earlier post, who are they for exactly?

just last week i saw a program on tv in which little girls as young as four were doing suggestive poses on stage for.......adult "judges"

personally, i think there should be an investigation into that industry.

There seems to be a lot of one dimensional anti/pro modeling talk as is understandable. but less focus has been given to what is or is not illegal. Where is the line drawn? What makes some modeling agencies worse than others? I have a couple of specific questions that no amount of internet research has been able to clarify.

      1. Does see-through clothing render the images illegal? because there seems to be a lot of going around.

      2. What exactly is the law when considering whether these sites cross the line into pornography?

    • edodeweert profile image

posing naked for art is sexual; rendering the naked human form is sexual; drawing naked breasts and buttocks is like touching them vicariously.

showing bald pussies in this context is sexual (and hoped for in these sessions)

children should not be engaged in this activity and within this environment.

(off topic, somewhat: i find child beauty pageants equally disgusting and a form of child abuse)

i have, however, been at sessions where some of the artists were by their own admission, not yet 18, yet they were there drawing a naked male (me).

the brilliant austrian artist egon schiele used as his favorite subjects underaged females and portrayed them in very sexual poses.

he would have been a pornographer extraorninaire, had he lived in this day and age; he died in 1919.

ever since men build caves has the naked female been their object of desire and for some that included the "not-yet-of-age" female.

there is one thing, though, that must not be forgotten and that is that we do not become sexual beings when the clock strikes midnight on our 18th birthday.

in my quest for experiences from other men who pose naked at art schools, i have come across dozens of sites where males have found it necessary to regale the world with anecdotes of how they got one erection after another during those sessions.

i guess that's why old guys like me are so much in demand; though do not forget that with the help of our blue friend we too can proudly strut our boner.

but i have always found that i should leave something to the imagination.

and as well, i do have something that seems to have caught the art students' attention: nipples...yes, nipples and mine are large and very obvious...and large

To Doveweed: It seems you're not aware of the topic of this hub. We're discussing preteen models. Are you suggesting, regardless of others' beliefs it is perfectly okay for preteen to be placed in sexually suggestive poses? I need not rethink my motives, nor my beliefs.

Hello, I'm confused.. as far as I can tell you think that modeling sites should be taken down because they

      1. make people sick.

      2. the modeling agency website models have sexually suggestive poses.

You will need much better reasons then these to persuade anyone. America is about freedom and all modeling agencies had sexually suggestive poses sometimes. There will always be someone who finds someone elses activities disgusting. In a free society we must tolerate other people's taste to get the same in return else we'll all be wearing black robes over ourselves with slits cut for eyes.

please rethink your motives and try not to be biased, dishonest or bigitous.

Anon is right. Those crusaders who appoint themselves to speak on behalf of child web models might at least afford them the minimum courtesy of listening to what they have to say for themselves, when they have reached the age of adult citizenship and look back on their career.

Little girls have always sought to emulate their mothers and older sisters, who set the example for them to follow, regaling the malls in their bumster jeggings. We live in an age where parents post videos on YouTube of their 3-year-old in diapers trying to dance like Beyonce while they watch MTV.

It's easy and cheap to kick the little guy - you can ban child web modelling and working-class enterpreneurs all you like, but there will still be MTV, The Sport, and Page Three of The Sun. And Rupert Murdoch. I've got more respect for ultra conservatives who want to ban all porn in its entirety. At least they're consistent.

You can't insulate children in a context of 24/7 in-yer-face media. They don't live on a different planet, they inhabit this one with the rest of us. And they are not generally deaf, blind and stupid.

Get over yourselves already, and get a perspective. Life is nasty, brutish and short for most of the world's population who live on less than $2 a day. Therefore, sexual pleasure should be EVERYBODY'S right. We are ALL sexual creatures - that's why we're all here to debate the point! Even a baby can achieve an orgasm. Why begrudge pleasure to another? Harm, and not sex, is the only viable, and logical, moral criterion.

      Anon. 6 years ago

It's interesting that the thread above by ???? seems to be ignored by those making comments, except for the author of the blog who merely seems to express incredulity that she could have actually have a had a positive experience modelling for LS. Quote "We were well paid, treated very well and it was great FUN. The best time of my life. There were about 1500 girls involved and none of us have ever complained." A friend of mine is researching this issue for a book, the former models they have spoken to have also had good things to say about their "underage" modelling experiences.

Former "Sandi Model" from Webe Web models in the U.S. has videos on YouTube under the "Former Webe Web Models Speak Out Campaign" claiming that they were victims only of the government for shutting them down and throwing photographers in jail - not victims of the photogs or people who subscribed to their modelling sites. Many beautiful girls of all ages enjoy showing off their beauty, and getting well paid for it is a bonus.

I for one would also prefer that those who find young girls sexually exciting fantasize in front of their computer screens as opposed to seeking to satisfy their desires elsewhere. The time and money spent on closing down these sites (where the models are happy, willing participants and well compensated) could be better spent on issues like poverty, homelessness, and child prostitution (and modelling for internet sites is nothing close to being prostituted!).

In closing I would just like to say to ???? - Good for you for speaking out and refusing to let people force "victimhood" on you! More power to you!

I also agree with this I also think that the people who are a bit sick e.g pedo's and child molesters are being sent to prison for what they do and you have images like the preteen sites leading them on. I mean if a pedo see's these photos of young girls poses in thongs with next to nothing on they will be wanting it and i think it pretty sick that this is allowed and any parent who doesn't care about their child being exposed in this manner should be prosecuted because it is unacceptable and if they think its good to have their daughter do this to earn money what are they going to do when they get older, stripping ? prostitution ? I think that this preteen stuff needs to be stopped now.

this is comical as this is an old article now and as of yet, nothing has been done to curb no nude child modeling,ie preteens baring ass via wearing thongs and swim suit thongs thongs/.articles like this are great for getting people to jump on the bandwagon, but they're not too well thought out before being published.whatever solid plans there were to eliminate no nude preteen child modeling on the internet, fizzled out rapidly.the definition of porn is so flimsy that this type of modeling escapes the illegalities.wearing the thongs is a large part of that back door(no pun intended).that dental floss down the crack of the ass actually protects these photographers from being legally labeled as pornographers.strange strange strange!! this country(usa) and many others as well, encourage the action of children to get naked in front of adults.we live in country wherein now days children are often times the ones who encourage molestation by blatantly going the first step to have it induced and then it continues until the adult is caught.in redaing the paper and watching tv media news,i've caught on a long time ago that most of the time,a person who molests a preteen generally gets caught only because a friend of the victim says something. i truly believe that more times than not,the victim was a willing party even up to the time of being discovered/.this is how ill this country has gotten..not just this country i'm sure./what a horrible direction we're heading.

Seriously? 14+? Don't you mean 18+? Being a boudoir photographer myself, I would never shoot anyone younger then the age of eighteen in a sexual nature. Nor would I even want to make it suggestive. Why can't you use models of lawful age with the curves and looks to portray the natural beauty of sexuality? It is one thing to shoot children for clothes or products, but quite another when you make it adult content. That is the sickness of the person I would think. These little kids do not have the mentality yet to figure out that many photographers are sick perverts with cameras. This comes from someone who used to model and now shoots nudes and implieds.

I have been viewing some of Lilianna child model portfolio albums and while i do believe she is very cute/beautiful/pretty im not so sure i can view her anymore after what i saw in a few pictures. She had bruised legs and faces in some poses saying "i don't want to do this" I do NOT condone abuse and and from what i saw this deff looks like abuse. My blood boiled. Its one thing if they are poseing and modeling for one. That's whatever they are happy not being forced into anything and all of free will. When you bring being forced into posing a certain way they may not feel comfortable (and it esp shows on there faces) and or sines of being beaten that's when it crosses the line. They ARE children i keep construed and keep my line of thoughts on models that willingly pose. I absoulty HATE hardcore child porn. I don't like girls under a certain age esp the really young ones ie:10 and under and i understand that when im out in the real world kids and young girls have no sexual nature (unless they are somewhat of a teenager) and that i actually absoulty do not lust after any little kids i see. I keep that for the models that choose to portray themselves in these sites and even then i never think of penitration unless i know they are physicly mature enough for it in the first place 14+ and who freaking cares really? Im not harming anyone. Im not going to go out and molest anyone and like someone else said what i think in my mind is irrelivant to wheather you like it or not its my buisness not yours.

How the h*ll is this stuff not outlawed? This is bull. And the pics from the link the guy found is SO APPARENTLY childporn!

      I don't get it.

I don't agree with the people who say it's just about beauty. If it was, then it would be nice pics like Paul talked about. There does not need to be pics of kind in their underwear in sexual poses.

And for the whole "Art" argument - well, I love art (big fan of Pop Art), but there are some levels of "art" that just don't need to be explored.

Frankly, if it hurts anyone else or puts them in jeopardy, it should be illegal. I bet, if anyone did a study of the psychological effects of being a child model in these pics, they would find damage being done.

It's horrible and I can't believe this crap is still online.

A note for QQ. Is it art when sexual desires are aroused? Is it art when obvious attention is given to genitals and breasts, even with scanty clothing on? Is it art when little girls act sexually mature beyond their years? Is it art when girls flirt and hint at taking off their clothes? Is it art when girls spread their legs wide? Ask Hugh Heffner and he will tell you that his multi-million dollar industry was not built on art but rather on lust and eroticism. What you want, QQ, is to enjoy these little girls in the same way normal men may lust on grown women. You are sick. Go get help.

I looked up the two sites Paul mentioned (Liliana and Cutie) to see what was on them. In one pic, Liliana was leaning back on the bed and her legs were spread as wide as they could go, with her crotch in the center of the pic. The intent was very obvious--to give the idea of sexual intercourse. When I clicked on Cutie, as soon as I saw her face I felt yuck and clicked the back key. What is she, all of five years old? Who could be interested in these girls? As for QQ four months ago, he is lying through his teeth in order to defend his pruriant desire of little girls. Yes, QQ, it is child porn when the girls spread their legs. Things may be different today but sex is sex, and you can't have nine year old girls acting like prostitutes and say it is normal. Remember, QQ, they get paid for acting promiscuous, but in real life girls are not like this at all, unless they have been raised to be that way. So let me ask you. Is it really a good thing that our "progressive" society is so corrupt?

I've not responded to the posts in some time, but I must say, I've had to delete quite a few responses due to their extreme graphic language toward small children. It seems rather than these sites being taken down, or at the very least monitored, more are popping up.

One particular response was by Katr (reverse r) that I'd like to respond to. You say you were an LS model. I myself don't know if there was more than one site named 'LS MODELS,' but the one in particular I'm referring to was Ukrainian based and it WAS a porn site that offered provocative and erotic photos and videos of very young girls. I won't cite what was written in Wikipedia, but rather from what the transcripts of the Ukrainian police reports. If parents were in fact with their children when these photos and videos were taken, let's just say these aren't the type of parents I would want for any of my friends or relatives. Most of the sites that offer soft and hard child porn are out of the United States, but there are sites within the U.S. that offer it as well.

Another particular response I received that is still sitting above this post sickens me. Of course, I will not post what 'Walter' said, but I have made a note of his ip address. If frightens me to think of what this sort of person's demeanor might be when in the presence of preteens.

Once someone reaches the age of consent, they are free to do what they please, but when an adult manipulates a child in a sexually explicit pose, it's time to do something.

As for Google omitting these sites from their search engines, I don't know what to say to that. But if one types in 'preteen model,' generally you will see the following at the bottom of the page:

In response to a legal request submitted to Google, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read more about the request at ChillingEffects.org.

Obviously, sites are being omitted, but I don't believe they actually removed prior to an outside source complaint.

Keep your children safe from sexual predators. It's obvious --- A predator need not have physical contact with a minor.

I'm all for, to each his own, but come on there not just pics of girls posing in a dress, or hell looking cute. pictures that leave no room for the imagination kinda past art an into exposing little kids. Like 6 years old, it need to be stoped. If not stoped monitored better.

The author of this feels exactly like I do. It would be easy for google to censor this smut, and for the life of me I can't figure out why it wouldn't. Another sick issue is YouTube and the groups of pedophiles on there. They self police the site, but I've seen times I've flagged videos multiple times that were of scantily dressed preteen girls and they may not remove it at all. Makes me sick.

i also think it is bad, as im 16 and have seen them, but is the offence to view the websites or to put the pictures on, is it illegal to go on these websites?

A friend of mine told me about these sites that he accidentally stumbled upon the other day. I found it hard to believe, but I checked and they do in fact exist. I know art should be protected as a freedom of expression, but I'm left wondering (after looking at a few of these pictures) if this is something that can be truly regarded as art. These girls are quite young, and the poses seem very suggestive. I'm not sure if it really qualifies, but I'm no art critic. It just seems quite creepy and strange to me that people are making money off of scantily clad preteen girls. Too many pervs out there.

So many of these children may look as though they're posing and enjoying it, but remember, many of these sites are in other countries than the US. I believe the majority of them are underground sites too. Yes, it does come down to money, but I don't give a damn what some beliefs are on this topic; there should not be underage girls being offered as eye candy.

Some of the men who want to keep this kind of child exposure available are nasty, hateful and vicious while they defend their desire to have it. No, we are not the bad ones. We are not fascists who want to control life on the Internet. How about some protection for those too young to protect themselves? These little girls and young teens smile at all the money they make. They are patted on the head and told they did a good job. They probably do not know what they are doing. But their parents do. All for the love of money. Who are the bad ones?

I ran across one of these sites about four years ago. I reported it to the ascpa.org. They have shut down at least ten sites that I reported. My daughters are four five and six. These sites scare me to death to think that my exwufe might try and get my girls int modeling for the whole world to see on the net. Let alone the chance that some pervasive even try's to take a porn pic like this of my kids. I say kill all these pervs.

I could not agree more with this article! I was searching the web earlier and came across the term 'pthc'. Not knowing what this meant I Google searched it and the results were sickening. There are literally thousands of photo's of young girls in extremely provocative positions. You can say these girls 'consented' to these photo's being taken but at their age that means nothing. They're too young to understand the full effect of these photo's and who may be accessing them and for what reasons. This is the definition of child exploitation and I for one would be completely behind a campaign to rid the world of this crap. You can report websites, however the information you give is not always confidential and I'm not trying to some how be misinterpreted and end up on the wrong side of the law.

I don't have a family yet but regardless these photo's make me sick and any one that looks at them and doesn't think its some kind of cheap way for freaks to get off is plain wrong. This shit makes my blood boil and it should be stopped!

There is nothing wrong with modeling I find them attractive. Child pornography and photography has been around for a very long time from what I have researched. Its been around decades before I was born. Bottom line girls modeling is not wrong and I agree with roger US may be unaccustomed to over seas ways. If you look at history it shows girls that age were married and often had kids from there early teens to late. So I find nothing wrong with the consensual beauty of fully aware young girls so long as there's no forced rape and beating going on.

As a former LS model myself I can tell you that the Wikipedia article is flawed in many areas. All of us had our parents' permission. We were well paid, treated very well and it was great FUN. The best time of my life. There were about 1500 girls involved and none of us have ever complained. It was pressure from the US FBI that closed the agency. No-one was ever prosecuted. Ukrainian laws were not broken, and adverts for nude models had been placed in newspapers and on prime-time TV. We feel insulted that you think of us as child porn victims. None of us have been damaged at all! If you don't like our photos don't look at them, BUT PLEASE LEAVE US ALONE!

I have seen some of these sites and I'm disgusted. I'm 14, I was a preteen model and I NEVER did any provocotive posses EVER. I wasn't even allowed to model swimwear until I was 13. I find these young girls being taken advantage of disgusting; I'm worried how their parents let them do it and if they even knew their parents knew this was happening. I'm still a teen model and I will never do any provocative poses until I'm 18 and I may still not want too. I think such sites should be shut down and owners prosecuted.

I personally love those sites, so what if they are young? they are pretty and sexually attractive to me and a lot of people, stop makin such a big deal out of this I personally love to ejaculate on my 8 years old daughter's butt. its nature, why fight it? if no harm is done to those kids in anyways, then it should be fine, trust me I am totally against kid violence, or kid rape for that matter, but preteens posing in thongs or in underwear is harmless to them (assuming they know what they are doing and that they were not forced in anyways to do it)

i don't see what all the fuss is about i have just looked at one of those teen sites all the girls have clothes onalso they are not doing anything sexuall i contacted one of the web sites and aske "are they getting paid " they told me 100% and they have the parents consent also.

i think ifits in your mind to look at a young girl or boy and get arroused well thats in your mind but if you look at a model and think ahh aint she or he pretty what's the problem also if your religious person it says in the bible "pure to mind is pure to heart" is you look at photos and think they are sexuall ,well then its in YOUR mind yes Yours and maybe YOU need to seek advice and stop thinking that everybody thinks with your mind!

i have a 16 yr old son and a 14 yr old daughter and they are sp pretty and wonderfull looking and have seen them nude a 1000 time and never thought even for a second i =they look sexuall only they look perfect and i thank god for that! live and let live

QQ - and may I ask, in which hole do you bury your head prior to your thoughts escaping your lips?? Do you honestly believe by these sites citing a law and posting it on their pages it makes them LEGAL? I don't have the information on each teen and preteen site that offers these 'provocative' photos, but I can assure you, many offer pictures far worse than those seen on their cover pages. Case: LS Studios, and here's the Wikipedia link offering information on this Ukrainian based 'Child Porn' business.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Ukrainian_child_...

You also stated in general that these pictures are taken with the supervision of parents - yeah, and most are in on the money making schemes. Tell me, would you allow your daughter to pose in this fashion? If your answer is affirmative - I pray to God to don't HAVE a daughter!
