Song for Jhessye Shockley and all children abused by there parents

Have You Seen Me !!!!!!

In America 2000 Children are reported missing everyday. Statistics show that a child becomes missing every 40 seconds. A child becomes missing either because they ran away from home, are abducted by a stranger or kidnapped from there home.

Child Abduction by a stranger is the most horrific actions taken against a child. A child abducter lures a child to go with them by offering them candy, money or lying to a child by saying I know your mommy and daddy and they ask me to pick you up. The majority of the time that a child is abducted there abused and raped by there abducter and even sometimes murdered.

A kidnapped child is usually a child that is kidnapped from there home by a family memeber or a person that is close to the family or had some kind of involvement with the family. This category of a missing child is one of the highest and usually when the child is found it's a family member that took them and usually the child is returned safely to there home but not in all cases. Even though a child is taking by a family member it's still considered kidnapping and it's against the law.

Some Children are considered lost due to the fact that they were abducted and can still be alive but the child is helpless against there abducter and just can't get away even if they were taught how to defend themselves or what to do if a stranger approaches them unfortunately the abducter over powers them.

As a society we can all help and make the statistics of missing children has dropped dramatically by all working together and teaching our children of stranger danger and how to defend themselves. We can make programs that are free to teach children about strangers and what to do if approached. Where I live the police department has a program called R.A.D.D KIDS and they have it once a year and I feel a little safer knowing that my child knows what to do. We as parents also need to teach are children when there young what there address is, teach them there phone number, there whole name and your name as well in case they do ever become loss and found they be able to give that info to get back home.

What we can do to help others that have children that are missing we can be aware of amber alerts that are happening www.amberalert.gov/active.htm take down the info given and keep an eye out. We can also every so often take 10 minutes and go to www.missingkids.com or www.amw.com/missing_children/ and look at pictures of children that are missing because you never know you could be at a store and come face to face with one of the children and you could be the one that helps them get back home..If you seen any of the children that are missing or know there where abouts please call 1-800-843-5678.

To the one's out there that are missing a child don't ever give up on Hope And Faith. We are all with you in your search to bring your child safely back home to you...

I'm sorry I can't put all the pictures of the one's that are missing on my hub but I will try to add to a hub of it's own for pics only..
