Challenges of Today
I'm a 47 year old grandmother raising 3 grandchildren,a 14 year old boy,a 13 and 7 year old girls.Believe me when I say it can be very fustating at times and down right nerve shattering.
My diliema was never to spank or not, after all i recieved a few in my days and i turned out pretty good, my problem was do I spank and ground them. At times It called for both and thats what they got.
However in this day and age of babies having babies. I feel that all ways of teaching a child right from wrong are not being implemented, and theses are the problem children who are and will be reaping h*ll in this world. There has to be a way to raise respectful, loving children.
By the way these are my grandchildren, respectful sometimes, loving occasionally, but well disciplined, definitely.
