Why are we letting are veterans be mistreated and overlooked!
My grandpa, who is 90 years of age is an veteran of World War II
and Korean War. I can never repay him for the fight he has
fought for me and all of us. So I am reaching out to you, the
public. To stop these horrific acts that our veterans are going
through. For us as Americans to start fighting for our veterans.
My grandpa and grandma had to go to the government
building to get some assistance for a bill that veteran
hospital wasn't going to pay for. My grandpa's number
that they give to you was called for him to get his
answers. The man at the counter became very
disgruntle with him, telling him he couldn't help him.
The employee told my grandpa to go onto a
computer and find the information himself. My
grandpa doesn't even know how to use a computer!
The employee couldn't even look up a
number or a name. When I found out about this I
looked up the information for my grandpa. It only took me
five minutes! Five minutes that a government employee
can't do.We should be honoring our veterans everyday,
not just on Veterans Day or Memorial Day!
