Have Fun Teaching

http://www.havefunteaching.com- Unlike the other sites Have Fun Teaching, does not have online games for children. Instead they have fantastic modern academic videos. I LOVE the letter sounds and sight word videos. See the letter A video below :).

Storyline Online

http://www.storylineonline.net- Storyline online is a website containing videos. The videos are of celebrities reading children's stories.

PBS Kids

http://pbskids.org- Typical TV shows do not produce quality academic games, however, PBS kids an exception to this.

ABCya!

http://www.abcya.com- ABCya! has educational games for K-5 graders.

Spelling City

http://www.spellingcity.com- Spelling City has many games perfect for children who are beginning to build their conventional spelling skills.

Scholastic's Story Starters

This will help your child prepare the PARCC online high stakes testing. This would be an activity for a kindergarten-3rd grader.

Endless Alphabet - Endless Alphabet is a fun way to introduce letter sounds and phonemic awareness skills

Sight Words- Sight Words has flashcard type lists of sights words for preschoolers-3rd graders.

Bluster- Bluster has many partner phonemic awareness games.

Tic Tac Toe Phonics- Tic Tac Toe Phonics requires children to answer phonemic awareness questions, inside a game of tic tac toe

Reader- Reader shows children a picture of an object then gives them a puzzle. The child must drag the letter pieces into the correct spelling place. Then, Reader puts the word into a sentence.

Spelling City- Spelling City has a variety of spelling activities for grades K-12.

Alphabet Trace- Alphabet Trace is a tracing game for children who are learning letter formation.

Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games- This app has a shape and color game, along with a letter game for younger children.
