From a sweet baby to toddler tantrums, and whiny demands= motherhood

Updated on March 26, 2016

Look at this sweet baby girl.

All she did was..

  • sleep
  • breastfeed
  • and repeat

She crawled!

She took her first steps!

and just like that, it flew by.

and welcome to toddler-crazy-time-nonsense!

I learned naps are crucial!
If my daughter did not take a nap not only would she
throw a fit but she would get extremely clumsy and run into things.

And if you don't put your toddler down for a nap like this,

you might find them asleep like this.

or get the kid that cries because they wanted their shoes on backwards..

they wanted to eat the chapstick..

and they don't even know why!

Toddler naps also give you an hour or so of
(peace and quiet) (time to clean) or whatever you make of
your mom time.

Then, it gets real.

Just when you thought things were going fine and dandy as you
left your innocent 2 year old on her comfy chair to watch
Bob-Bob for a few minutes while you make an afternoon snack,

You come back to 5 minutes of destruction.

Who me?
Who me?

You laugh it off, because how could you not when you see a face as sweet as this?

"the up to no good thinking face"
"the up to no good thinking face"

No really..

This face.
This face.

Its all part of being a mom, and its all worth
the hugs and kisses and every single moment.

The good, the bad, the happy, and sad.

At the end of the day,

I will probably blink and have a teenager before I know it

so I will enjoy every moment.

The way she steals my milkshakes,

and carries the poor cat around.

After all I signed up for it,

and what you see is really what you get

incase you were still wondering

This is what its really like.
