What is my job title?
What is my job title? Im a single mum, and have a problem in my 20 and early 30s I owned my own business, but after moving to spain and divorcing, I had to give it up. In the last 3 years up until now I am a carer for the elderely (although at present have no job for this), I rent out my apartment in the summer months, and look after other peoples apartments which includes cleaning, I also write for a web page and am a gardener. So when my child asks Mum what is your job title? What should I say. Help
You are a survivor. You have been through such a lot in your life, and here you are raising a child on your own, working and caring for other people as well as gardening and finding the time to write. I would tell your child that your job title can't be summed up in one word, you take on the role of many jobs in order to be the best mum you can to your child. More people should take inspiration from you. Wishing you all the best for the future.
Say that your an all-rounder and a super strong powered woman helper
Your are a property manager and a Home Health Aide. And a really strong woman something your son must be proud of.
Hi Sarah! This is current "aha." I have three sources of income and I used to be embarrassed by that. Recently, many sources have helped me realize that multiple sources of income is smart. You should confidently be able to tell your daughter that you are an "Entrepreneur with Multiple Sources of Income." ...say that enough times and your income could skyrocket:)
Professional Domestic Caregiver is a suggestion that I have for your work title. The way you could top this off is see if you could gain a license for this and then you could say licensed professional domestic caregiver.
I would just like to thank everyone who has replied to my question every input has been great! Sarah
Good Day sarah lawton!
Let's see, you are a former entrepreneur (though you don't say what the business was), you care for the elderly (presumably you go to their homes and care for them there, since you say that you "have no job for this"); you rent out your apartment in the summer months (like a "landlord"), while you look after other people's apartments, as well as clean them; and you write for a web page (but again, you don't say WHAT you write for this web page, and you are a gardener.
