   Well, it would put me in the loony bin, but some people have the right personality for it.  I know someone who had three kids in just under three years and adopted one besides.  Not for me, but I admire anyone who can do it.  Keep in mind most kids aren't fully potty-trained until around the age of 3 so that could mean a lot of diapers.

   Most people don't "plan" to have 3 under the age of three, but I know some who have had this occur!  My own daughter right now has 2 that are under 2, but to add a third would be too much fun!!  It is a full time job to supervise that many children of those ages and it takes someone special to do it without over-stressing!  It can be a very physically and emotionally taxing job to say the least.  I also see it as being hard on the children as they are unable to have any one parent's full attention at any time.  They do not have the adult-child interaction that sometimes is so vital to a child's well-being.  As a preschool teacher, I am concerned about their educational needs as well.  Children learn so much in the first 5 years!  It is the time that the foundation of their educational learning processes are being developed.  The more time they are given with an adult's guidance before the age of 5, the more grounded and developed they will be.  A parent who is spending every moment meeting the physical needs for the children, will not be able to give the emotional and educational needs the attention that children today need to cope and be productive.  It CAN be done....it is just difficult.  These children often become withdrawn and even abused children as parents are often too stressed to deal with them.  I personally don't recommend it as a plan.

   Sometimes people have control over such a choice and some times they don't. Take the couple who brings triplets into the world. Right there its total chaos for the first 3 years of theirs and the parents life. I think it all has to do with the attitude of the parents and their approach to parenting. Personally, it would not be alright for me to have three children under the age of three. But that does not mean its not a good thing for another set of parents. Its all relative...

   Forget how much effort it is needed from both parents to rise 3 children under 3, but the most important is that each of these children will not get enough attention and love at the age that they mostly need it.
   So, why the rush, take your time and give each of your children enough quality time that you will both enjoy.

   It does not matter to me if you, or someone you know, does........I have no voice in the matter.   NONE.
   
   
   My only advice to any mother, allow your body to adjust, heal, and become strong again before another pregnancy.   If you perfer to birth your babies closer together, and  possibly risk your own health...........it is not my affair. 
   
   There are valid arguements for having our children close together, and well spaced.........let the mother decide.

   Hi Kika....
   Kind of a subjective question, with so many variables. I know of folks who don't have any business having a dog, much less a child. Then there are others who thrive with children, and could be superior parents of 12. A lack-or abundance-of money, space, patience, wisdom, and time are all ingredients for either hamony or tragedy.

   I don't think having 3 children under the age of 3 is a good idea. Definitely not my choice. To me, it would be so confusing and difficult.  But again, it's a life choice. It's all up to any individual perspective to decide which one is best.

    It is up to individual taste--but for me I think each child deserves a parent's attention.  They benefit so much from it and with 3 under 3, there is little time to really spend that quality time with each one so they feel special.
