What do you think about teens taking hand sanitizer to get drunk?

It's been all over the news and I can't believe what I'm seeing these days? Kids do all kind of stuff to be cool on videos and they're risking their lives. It's very shocking what they are capable of.

I had not heard of this.  It's pretty horrifying what teenagers will try to get some kind of buzz.

Few kinds have already ended up in the emergency room because of this. I don't know what's got into their head. Smh

Yeah It's gotten pretty big, there's a story on my local news tonight about it. It's stupid, hands down stupid. I don't get why these kids need to get high anyway. I mean copying videos by dressing like a star is fine and good way to be "cool", but getting high and Jackass stuff is so idiotic. Before long it will be necessary to confine teens to safe rooms at all times just to keep them from killing themselves.

Personally, I think it's stupid because there are too many other ways to do it!, and the stuff has so many chemicals, it's got to be one of the worst. Unfortunately, no one can stop it, because once it starts "everybody" has to try it. Like glue and gas and whiskey they might not even like. There are a lot of things (smoking) that kids don't really like (and can't imagine they like the taste! Horrors!), but Just like drinking, drugs, sex, and rock & roll, it's become  a rite of passage to play follow-the-leader. Would like them all make it ok. Most will, but we will hear about the ones that don't. Just like pill bowls, etc.

I hadn't even heard of this happening!

Absolutely awful - I mean, is it any better than drinking meths or any other type of ethanol?

I can't imagine what would make a teenager want to put HAND SANITIZER into their mouths. It really is beyond belief.

Not surprising. People will try anything for a high or buzz.
