Walking with my husband and 6 month old daughter among the lilacs at Lilac Day in the Arnold Arboretum in Boston. The look on our baby's face smelling a sprig of lilacs was priceless. She was not a fan!
The sun lighting up the Rocky Mountains after a rainy, foggy morning in Estes Park, Colorado yesterday was pretty good too. Walking around Lily Lake by myself, and then returning to my husband and that baby girl, now a 3 year old, was pretty great too. The self-care and relief from having to be an attentive mom, and then the reunification with the child I love who loves me unconditionally is the best.
