   Favorite qualities of your Mother you wish to emulate?
   
   My Mother and I were so very different - I took after my Dad in so many ways. Some things I loved, some things I hated. I will forever be jealous of her intelligence and social savvy. When I was young I hated her flamboyance, now as an aging adult, I understand her flamboyance was only her energy expressing herself.
   
   While I will never have her beauty and intelligence, I look back and see a courageous woman who was always kind. I remember her more often today after turning 50 than ever before.
   
   What favorite qualities of your Mother do you admire and try to emulate?

   Her love for God and her very strong faith is what I most admire about my Mother. I only hope to emulate the example she has set for me.

   I love my Mom's strength. No matter what came our way, she did it with the desire to keep us all safe and well.

   I wish I had my mother's patience with and love of people.  She always said to look for the good in people, but I often find that difficult to do.  She never did...even with people who were incredibly mean and unfair to her.

   Even though she was mostly uneducated by today's standards, her studies having being interrupted by World War II, my mother had a tremendous dose of common sense, and she was able to pass it on to her four children. She was capable enough to prepare us for most situations we would have to face in life.
   Looking back, this was quite an achievement.

   I hope to be lucky enough to have my mother's skin.  She has beautiful skin, she is 70 yrs old yet somehow looks like she's in her early 50's.
