Yes, I know the feeling. When it comes, I remember what the monk Thomas Merton said about how he had come to a place like that, and also felt that everyone was doing cruel things and he couldn't bear it. He went into spiritual retreat, meditated and prayed. When he came out, the world was still the same, but now he felt nothing but love and compassion for those who were lost and confused, and in their confusion, acted cruelly.
This inspires me to meditate and pray each day, so that, when these feelings come, I know where to turn - inward and to the Divine. (Note: You don't have to believe in God to do this. I could equally say, inward, to my inner connection with life and awareness.
