It depends upon how old the child is and what is the purpose of using any technology. Too much screen time often affect nearsighted vision of a child. So if the kid is less than 3 and 1/2 years old, 2 hours screen time is more than ok. I have seen kids spending much more time with speaking bots available on playing tablets. This in turn affects natural learning process; how? They invest much time talking to speaking bots when they should interact with their family members, enjoy themselves playing with friends at gardens or at nearby play grounds. It helps to bond well with people around and they learn to imbibe family values. Natural process also contributes to their mental growths.
