    Yes, we are becoming more liberal in child raising , Who knows where it leads. Its disappointing to those raised with some disipline,  Known values are becoming a thing of the past......

    Yes and no. I was raised by strict parents and didn't dare talk back.
    At the same time I knew kids back 20 years who were fresh and belligerent. I agree that we have become more liberal with child raising but a lot of that comes from child abuse laws that can tie adults hands when they need to discipline kids..

    It really depends on who the parents are I think. I know I had an understanding with my parents. They loved me and respected me but never do anything to make them loose their respect or embarrass them. That included, drugs, sex, beligerant, cheating and many more things.

    I think kids lash out these days because they see other kids do it and their parents don't give them enough respect as people. So they lash out in any way to get some form or attention...good or bad
