Babies In Need - Making a Difference For Babies That Need Help

Babies in Need - Helping Newborn Babies - Making A Difference For Babies and Mothers

Welcome to Babies in Need.

This lens is about a group of dedicated people who are involved in a new non-profit company called "Gifts for a Precious Life".

Gifts for a Precious Life is a group of caring individuals who use their talents of knitting, crocheting, and sewing to gift newborn babies and babies in need in local hospitals with new blankets, lots of baby beanies, mitts, and baby booties to bring home. We also help unwed mothers who decide to keep their babies and gift items to paralyzed Veterans.

We are a group of people (most in their 80's and 90's) who are living off our Social Security benefits. The cost of the supplies come directly from our own pockets to make these handmade items of extra clothing or baby items for babies in need.

We need your help to continue with our work helping out these precious babies. With a few more dollars and a bit more yarn, more baby blankets and clothing items can be made and donated. Not a penny of any cash gifts sent us will be spent in anything other than yarn and/or supplies directly needed to create baby items for these infants and toddlers that need our help.

While our group grows all the time, the amount of babies being born who can use a blanket or clothing item also grows. We are asking for your help in getting more items to more babies.

Yarn or soft fleece fabric are very much appreciated! A small gift of cash, even a dollar, that would be used to purchase those same supplies, would also be appreciated by those who continually purchase these materials out of their own pockets in addition to spending the time to create soft, warm baby items. Gifts For a Precious Life does what it can by giving these babies and paralyzed Veterans what they need.

Spreading the word that we need help in supplying more baby blankets to more newborns is another way that you can help our group! The more people who can join us in our campaign to help babies in need, the more babies we can assist.

Gifts For A Precious Life Group has a PayPal address available for those interested in sending a cash gift for yarn and supplies. It is

Please don't forget to keep all of these babies and paralyzed Veterans in your prayers.

Thank you,

Gifts For A Precious Life Group Needs Your Help to Assist Babies In Need

Babies in need - group

Some babies are born to parents who may need a little helping hand with baby clothes, blankets, or a warm knitted cap.

Our group does what it can to help give these babies in need a blanket to make them feel secure and soft clothing to help keep them warm.

Won't you help us in giving these babies a helping hand?

Just an extra dollar or another skein of yarn would be greatly appreciated. And, remember, it all goes directly to benefit a local baby in need.

We May Be Older, But We Still Have Purpose and Drive

So many times, we hear people imply that because we are older, we have no purpose, ambition, or drive.

That isn't so!

The Gifts For a Precious Life group is a group made mostly of people in their 80's and 90's who get together to knit and crochet handmade items to donate to babies in need at local hospitals. We have given many, many blankets, hats, outfits, and baby booties to babies who may otherwise not have much in the way of soft and warm baby items. We help unwed mothers who decide to keep their babies and pray for paralyzed Veterans every Friday during our Prayer Group.

The money we use to purchase supplies comes from our own pockets. Most of us have only our Social Security Pensions to live on!

Will you please help us attain our goals of helping more children, more babies in need?

Each dollar, each skein of yarn, goes directly to one of our group who will create a beautiful baby item to gift a baby who needs it. NONE of this money or any items of yarn gifted to us will go anywhere else. We promise you that.

Can you help?

Here Are Some Knitted Hats That Our Group Donated To Babies In Need

Here is an assortment of knitted hats that our group was able to donate to babies in need just a while back.

Not only is it remarkable that this group of 80 and 90 year old people get together to knit and crochet these baby items, but they do it while they are living almost solely on their Social Security Pensions! Now you know how little those can be for our more seasoned people!

These Gifts For A Precious Life seniors use the money from their own meager pockets to purchase yarn and supplies for those in need, spend their precious time and labor to create beautiful blankets and clothing items, and then give them away to those with less than they.

If only there were more people like this special group, the world might be a better place to live in!

Please, even if it is only a dollar or one ball of yarn, could you gift this caring group of seniors so that they can continue their work? We accept cash gifts through PayPal (address at the top AND bottom of this site), skeins of yarn can be purchased right here on this site (through Amazon and they mail it to us) and/or supplies can be mailed to us via the Post Office Box # above if you happen to have yarn at home that you are willing to send for our use on baby items.

In advance, we thank you for your generosity.

We so appreciate you taking the time to stop in and visit us here at the Babies in Need website and would appreciate any gifts or assistance you may find yourself able to give to Gifts For a Precious Life.

Babies are greatly valued. We try to show this by doing what little we can by giving them soft, warm blankets that help nurture and comfort them in their young lives.

I, Wynsome, want to let these older people that they still have a purpose in life. Gifts for a Precious Life is that purpose.

Thank You For Visiting Babies In Need

While I support many military causes, we all have a responsibility towards the babies, too. They ARE our future. Nice lens.
